I booked the experience online and the date defaulted to the next working day after I changed the number of people doing the excursion -- I tried to cancel it as it was for the NEXT DAY and I was still in England -- my holidays being 4 weeks away-- I phoned I emailed I got bounced around the teams-- no one ever replied and I have been charged for an activity we have NOT DONE as we are not yet on holiday due to a GLITCHY form on your webpage and no one has replied to me. SO AWFUL c

Wasnt as fast as we thought it would be. No drink as mentioned in the description. A lot of waiting around for people to get harnesses on especially if you are part of a large group at the top. One of our group decided last minute not to do it due to fear of heights. No refund offered

Picked up on time. Taken to the zip line. Staff there were very friendly and made the whole experience fun. Zip line isn’t that quick. But it’s very enjoyable seeing the island from a different perspective. It’s a walk up to the zip line. which was a little strenuous. But other than that it was great fun.

The staff were fantastic, helpful and friendly, no stress as they say, the only thing I would say and have seen on a lot of reviews is that we did not have any of the dancing etc they advertise as being provided after the zipline has been completed, so maybe you need to drop this from the advert as clearly it is a hit and miss event.

No welcome drink as such. Some plastic cups, water, juice and grogue provided on the mountain. TUI guests were asked to go first because our drivers were waiting for us. I was expecting to enjoy a carnival atmosphere and morabeza. but my mistake - it's not for TUI, so I recommend booking direct for the same price. It felt rude to leave while someone danced for us. Zip line was ok. As an experience it felt overpriced.

Was a little confused when we arrived as to the check in process. Two sides to the desk didn’t know if they were different? Some people helping themselves to drinks from a fridge, wasn’t sure if that was the welcome drink? Stood around before the briefing not sure if we were in the right place!!! The TUI guy who took us to the zipline however was fantastic. One other thing……don’t recall it saying that there was a hefty hike to get to the zip wire. I’m pretty fit but was still breathing hard!!

I enjoyed the spinning I could make myself do on the zipline. I did not enjoy the hike to the start but that's because I have bad knees. My finance had to use the different mechanism for people over 100kg but couldn't figure out hiw to make it go faster.

It was a high energy excursion from start-finish. Being picked up in a 4x4, the driver, the drive. The actual coming down the zip line I remember saying i’d do that again.However I couldn’t hear the safety instructions. My partner told me that a man he walked with fell twice up the cliff. We were first down the zip and my partner said he was left standing on edge fully harnessed but not sure on whether to jump as man left him saying ‘your good to go’. We left cliff sitting.

The zip line ride was fantastic. A great view across the south end of the island from the top of the hill, and a really exhilarating ride which includes going over the e sea before landing. In terms of improvement, it wasn’t clear on the scale of the climb from where the car dropped us off to where we stared the descent. It was very steep and rocky and we were thankful we’d decided to wear trainers. Some were in sandles and really struggled.

Our driver that picked us up from the hotel was brilliant. He told us he was just a driver but as he was taking us back he told us all about the history of the place. He was incredibly passionate and made the tour 10x better. The boys at the zip line course were 10/10 as well. Such good fun

No concerns re safety at all. We took a rucksack with us to put sunglasses, phone etc but was provided with a bag at the top to put all valuables etc in. The zip wire ride is very comfortable and there is no " bounce" back at the end as with smaller zip wires. The walk up lasts approximately 5-10 min ( you are taken up so far in transport); this walk could be quite difficult if you had poor mobility. Experience from start to finish lasted 3 hours

The zipline staff were friendly, engaging and customer focused, working in a safe and diligent manner. The driver was brilliant. Very engaging, passionate and informative about the island. Someone who deeply cares about the country and eager to share the culture with you. The drive to and from the zipline experience felt like a mini guided tour of the island - amazing! Zacc (I'm sure that's his name) is a brilliant ambassador for TUI. Thank you, my family enjoyed every second of it.

The experience itself was excellent but over very quickly with little opportunity to use cameras on the line as rental of gopro and services to sell memory cards were obviously more pressing. The walk to the top was also an unexpected hike.

You really should state how much the climb there is as I have several health conditions and no one informed us that there is a climb up the hill. Even older people and younger ones struggled.

Health and safety needs addressing. There are no safety barriers on or in front of the platform where you hook on. One of the staff was showing off. He swung over the edge of the mountain whilst hanging from the cable and wasn't hooked on. He is an accident waiting to happen. Visit Zipworld in Wales to see how health and safety is taken more seriously.

It was a great view from the top. Slide was a bit slow for me as I’m just over 40kg. If you’re light I’d recommend doubling up with someone so you’d go faster. Other than that it’s was a great experience. All the staff were really nice and thorough with safety. If I’m back in Sal, I’d definitely go again

I was very anxious about zip lining and although the staff were very good, I sometimes found their flippant comments rather disturbing. I realise they are doing this day in day out and they know it is safe etc, but I don't think they really helped someone who was feeling terrified. Having said that everything went well, and I enjoyed it, and in the end was pleased I had done it.

Zach collected us from hotel; good fun off roading on route. Safety briefing wasn’t the best they do it in a large group and then you have to get weighed. The bank up to the top isn’t the best.. all good safety wise. Shame it wasn’t a faster

The guys who run it are brilliant. They keep everything fun and get everyone involved. There is a bit of a climb to get up there and my mum was struggling with the steps and one of them waited and walked up with her, told her to take her time. Great experience and one we will definitely do again next time we are in Sal

We loved this experience. The staff were great fun whilst being extremely safety conscious at all times. The zip line ride itself was amazing and the views beautiful. The TUI Jeep that picked us up was the only thing that let the experience down. The seats in the back were uncomfortable and the roof too low. We had to crouch over the whole journey and when off road this was extremely uncomfortable on our backs with trying to protect our heads from the banging on the roof.

The zipline was amazing, we had a great time. All the guys at the ziplining were lovely. I would recommend this activity. There were no welcome drinks as listed by Tui, this would be my only reason to mark down as not listed correctly. Tui should state about the walk up to the ziplining as this wouldn't be suitable for everyone, and suggest you need suitable footwear, we only knew from reading reviews.

This was amazing…. I was a little worried and only stepped in last minute due to a family member falling ill but the guys at the zip line are amazing. They make you feel very relaxed, comfortable and confident enough to overcome your fears. I would highly recommend this and wish we’d done it at the start of the holiday so we could book on again The Tui pick up / drop off was on time and friendly - giving us enough time to enjoy a drink after the zip line too. 10/10 guys ??

Great trip overall. Staff super friendly and knowledgeable. Fairly expensive for one go down a zip line but good experience. Drinks would be better at the bottom to celebrate/ get over what you’ve just done. Longer trek to the top than stated in the description.

The zip line experience was great fun and overall good value for money. The staff were all very friendly and did their best to keep spirits high - especially with some members of the group feeling nervous. A little more guidance could have been given as to the order of things. As a large party of people we all had to be kitted out and prepped which took quite a bit of time.

All staff were amazing and entertained us all before during and after the zip. The cars take you so far, then a short but rocky walk with a lovely view from the top. I would take mosquito spray as there were a few nippers around. Go pro hire was £20. Enjoy!

The hotel is great and the facilities excellent. The one issue we have is with the amount of food waste in the buffet restaurant. We saw guests piling their plates with way too much food and then leaving it. The guy serving the roast meat threw away lots of bits of meat and Ribs that could be eaten. In fact those bits are the nicest and guests wanted that. I recommend the hotel puts up signs asking guests to dish modestly and not waste. And leave a dish for people to take the bones.

Overall really great trip out. Guys running the zip line are fab and as others have said good fun. Don’t be last down as once you’ve done the zip wire you can get a beer and there was live music and dancing- great atmosphere. Only criticism would be bizarrely the actual zip line felt a bit tame - neither me or my son went that fast so next time we’d maybe do a tandem to make us heavier!!

Having to go off road to get to the zip line experience was no problem, but TUI should maybe make it clear that those with a bad back may find it uncomfortable, especially if you’re travelling in the back of an old Land Rover.

The staff, from the pick up driver to everyone at the zip line centre were fantastic. Walk up to the top was in but hard. Greeted with fun pictures and drinks and snacks before the zip lining. Band and dancing at the bottom was fun as well. Guys made us feel so safe and we are off back to do it all again next week.

We were collected from our hotel, the driver Zac was so friendly and showed us alot of sights along the way. Only a ten minute journey to the zip line where we were met with the friendliest funniest team who made the entire experience so good!! Would most definitely recommend this!!

Staff were very nice but speed on the wire was a lot slower than we had been led to believe it would be from the advertising. Also only found out that had a second decent been booked a third one would be free but we then had to return to the hotel as transfer had to pick up another group as they were behind schedule so we could not make additional descents which was a shame.

Our guide was really informative and gave us some local info around Santa Maria. Handed us over to the zipline instructor and waited until all the entertainment was finished, as other reviews stated that tui guides where taking tourists away while local operators were staying until singing and dancing was finished. So had a really good experience at the zipline

We did the ziplining at sunset, absolutely stunning scenery. The staff are amazing, they made the event so much fun. I felt completely safe at all times, all the appropriate checks were done. They took photos for everyone and we did some dancing at the end. The zipline itself was a lot slower than the previous one I did in the UK however I thoroughly enjoyed looking out at the sea whilst on my way down. I would highly recommend this. They did run out of helmets which I thought was unacceptable.

It was a good experience but there were a large amount of people so it was slow to actually do the zip line. It didn’t seem to be as fast and exciting as expected.

Staff were excellent without doubt the best thing to do on the island. Other trips are good, but this on another level. From the introduction, to the flight itself. The views amazing, the staff went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. Even the dancing and game of table football after was great.

The guys who run zipline make the experience great fun and enjoyable from start to finish. The climb up is hard and would exclude some who are less fit but the lads who run it allow for breaks and stops for photos. Once at the top the party starts. A drink and a dance waiting for sundown and then the nail biting decent two by two. More partying with dancing to a band before the drive home.

Brilliant experience, Booked directly with the rep, wasn’t told there was prob 20mins walk with a steep incline. Although we didn’t mind. The main annoyance, we wasn’t told we needed money. You can hire a go pro for €20 so you can record the experience and keep the memory card.

Start to finish, this was a great experience. Our Tui driver was punctual and very informative during the drive to the experience. This in itself was a real bonus as it offered a local insight as we drove through smaller areas. The team at the zip line were amazing, full of great humour and extremely accommodating with my 2 kids (4yo & 7yo) and elderly grandparents! A must-do while in Sal!

Very enjoyable zip ride. Zip ride people went over all the safety rules beforehand and felt quite safe. Good, ride but ride didn't go as fast as it first appeared, but nevertheless thoroughly enjoyed it. Would recommend and for all ages.

This is a great way to experience something a bit different. The staff take your safety very seriously and whilst they may mess around & make things fun, they never do this at any customers expense and take no risks with your safety. It’s a great way to see the views of the island & I’d highly recommend it.

Rafa (guide) was really friendly and funny. Had a great laugh with him and journey was just as memorable as going down the zipline. The walk to the launch point was a bit steep and tiring, but the views are great. Recommend getting the GoPro as it was worth filming everything. Was made to feel that safety was high on the priority and the harness was checked and rechecked. Good to be given a backpack for belongings. Zipline was breath-taking. Journey back to the hotel was fun and Rafa told us a lot about the island. Would do it again.

Loved it all. This was the best day of out holiday. The Zipline guys were a good laugh but made sure safety measures were followed. The flight was amazing!

I thought the instructors were very knowledgeable and made the experience fun.

The zip line is an amazing experience, no where near as frightening as I was expecting. You are weighed to make sure the correct equipment is used and the staff ensure your harness is fitted correctly before you are connected to the zip line. My only comment is it did not mention the climb up some pretty steep steps to the top of the hill. This wasn’t an issue for me but could be for people with mobility issues or those less fit.

This was a brilliant experience. We got picked up by both TUI and Zipline staff; who were lovely. All the staff at the zipline were lovely and professional. We had a safety brief and then we’re driven as far as they could take us up the hill; there was then a short walk to the top on the hill; lots of stops (if required) and so many photo opportunities. Once at the top the team had provided water; and fruit punch and some local snacks which tasted amazing. The zipline it self was amazing; great views and such a rush. We felt safe at all time and would recommend this experience to everyone
