There were no details on where to connect to the bus and the stop we were directed to near the ship was not in service for the time we travelled. We then had to find our way via the tube at our own expense to the central meeting point. Once on the bus the windows were lowered with the outside temp being no more than 1oC. This happened on both the red and yellow lines. Bus was clean and tidy apart from that I can’t give any other positives.

We were directed to a stop to catch the bus where we just missed a service. The next bus was not due for over an hour. We had t get on metro to centre and then walk to a stop. By that time we got on first service available. I suggest you consider changing provider as a rival service ( Big Bus Service) had many more buses and a stop near the docking area. Also educate your staff to send users to a suitable starting place

Saw all the major sights of Vienna - however, it did take quite a long time so we were unable to get back to all the places we wanted to spend more time at. Difficult to do anything different as Vienna is big and we were only there for a day. We did see many spectacular buildings etc.

What a waste of time - it took 90 minutes just to reach the city centre so we got off and used the Metro instead as there was no way we could have visited anything we wanted and still have time to return to the ship. Tui should have given more info before the cruise about how close the metro station was to the ship.

It would have been helpful to make the experience more relevant to TUI, for instance being informed that the pick up point for the bus a was 3 min walk from the boat NOT the city centre wasting a lot of time, Queuing and boarding was very disorganised, both in the city centre for the main bus and the road train tour of the palace grounds. The bus itself was clean and the tour commentary was clear and informative, but overall a lot of room for improvement of the experience.

The bus had no air conditioning. The audio was playing music most of the time rather than pointing out the landmarks There is little of interest outside of the old town so it would be cheaper to take a metro into the town and nack

Cost 34 euros was on the yellow line tour for 90 minutes mostly no commentary and could only see places at a distance much better value was a 1 day travel card on the underground for 8 euros was quicker and easier to use

Convenient pick up next to where we docked. We used 2 different routes and didn’t have to wait long at any stops. Always got a seat so not too busy. Very hot the day we used it and we seemed to stop at every set of lights. Convenient if you don’t want to walk or just want to sit back and sightsee

The bus stop was quite a walk from the mooring and not easy to spot. The bus route close to the ship does a comprehensive 2 hrs round circuit but if you miss a stop you cant go back on yourself. It takes you first over to the other side of the river rather than into the city centre. The commentary is pleasant but not always very informative. Bus stops are sometimes hard to find. Buses run frequently and to time. Once into the city more routes are available to take you to all main areas.

It seemed convenient to take the hop on/off tour but we found it a bit dull. The metro service was very efficient and clean and we preferred that. On the Blue service it seemed to take ages to get anywhere. We were quite happy to get off after an hour when it went down to the harbour area.

You cannot use the service to get to the Schoenbrun morning tour as I had thought you could so got the metro. We used the service afterwards but the Metros are very good and the all day ticket is very useful. Unless you intend to do the tours on the bus, which were good, get the metro! The buses are enclosed so, on a very hot day, become very warm indeed!

The only point to not was that the service did not start to run from the Boats berth until later in the morning. If the service could be extended to start from 08:30 it would allow guests to use the facility to get to other venues earlier giving greater flexibility.

The bus was fine - it was recorded information. The bus driver did not mention where the earphones were so we didn't hear some of the tour until we worked out where the earphones were. There was a marathon the following day and the buses stopped in the afternoon. There was no information on the recording or from the driver so we did not know this. We walked a distance to get to the bus stop to rejoin the tour in the afternoon to discover the buses were no longer running! Very disappointed.

All in All the bus drivers themselves were great. The TUI rep Scott informed us that we had to walk 15 minutes to a bus as it couldn't get close to the ship, however we did see other buses closer to the ship?? My husband can't walk to far and if we had known this we wouldn't have booked the Hop on Hop off bus. We had to to get an Uber . Also, once we were in the centre we had lots of problems getting a bus back as there was a Marathon was taking place & rds were closed we were not told this.

The blue route did not stop close to the ship as shown on the bus map. We wasted an hour waiting for the bus that, it turned out, was never going to arrive. We had to walk to the metro to get to the nearest stop. The yellow route was almost entirely city streets with absolutely no interest to tourists. The yellow route bus driver was a frustrated F1 driver, accelerating and braking sharply and swerving to miss other traffic. Consequently we did not even attempt the Red route.

I hadn’t realised at the point of booking this tour with TUI that there were actually four routes and that it would take so long. It was a very tiring day for my 91 year old mother. I should have been given a map ahead of time onboard the cruise so that we could have better planned a less tiring route together

Staff were helpful and spoke good English. Not sure that the value for money was good. On the safety issue the bus driver didn't wait for less abled passengers to get to a seat before driving away from the stops.

All routes enjoyable and bus stops are close to attractions. Saw a lot of people banging their heads on the top deck, the ceiling is low and should have hazard tape or a warning label on the metal framework that supports the roof.

Great to be able to travel around the city, plenty of stops in great places to get off and explore. You can of course stay on as long as you like and enjoy the ride! 3 different areas to explore included in the ticket. Gets quite hot on the top deck so sit near an open window.!!

The map provided was not detailed enough so we couldn't find the stop to get on. The TUI rep was no help with this. We spent 45 minutes wandering around to find the stop then finally had to get on a bus that had stopped at traffic lights. There was a demonstration which meant roads were closed so we spent a great deal of time sitting on the bus not moving, or going around in the same small circle 3 times. No information on what was happening was given to the passengers.

Unfortunately it wasn’t clear where to commence the ride, which proved to be some distance from the boat. After joining the bus we’d hoped it would pass by the main tourist attractions, so we could hop off & on, but it travelled the periphery of the city some distance from most attractions.

The Vienna Hop on/Hop off bus tours was simple to use with plenty of stops to get us us around the city including the Schoenbrunn Palace. The only comment we have is that one or two of the bus stops were a little difficult to find in certain areas even though we had a tour map.

The free map, earphones and audio whilst on the bus were brilliant. The day that we went was extremely hot and time was limited, so whilst we got to where we wanted to be during the day, had it been cooler and we had more time, we would definitely have tried other routes.

Buses were easily found in the city to start the tour. It was a very hot day as usual in Vienna so to travel in the bus was very unpleasant, so having air conditioning upstairs and downstairs would have been helpful and practical. The ear plug system was in excellent condition and very informative

Omdat je direkt alle bezienswaardigheden van de stad ziet en ook direkt kunt bezichtigen. En het is goede aktiviteit om te zien waar je tijdens je stedentrip naar toe kan gaan. Dus wanneer je de hop on hop off bus in het begin van je stedentrip plant heb je een goed beeld wat de rest van je stedentrip kunt doen.

Geen duidelijkheid over tijden en opstapplaatsen buiten het centrum. We moesten erg zoeken en daarna een uur wachten op de bus. Hotel kende deze hop bus niet terwijl we via Tui gereserveerd hebben.
