The tour was excellent! We were also impressed as the coach broke down at the restaurant but we carried on with the tour without delay and when we returned to the restaurant a replacement coach was ready to continue with the tour to El Golfo. Well done to Ava and Marcus

Really well run experience, on time and Playa Blanca pickups only so not a long time doing the collections. The guide and driver were brilliant, Robert was very knowledgeable and we liked the fact that he altered the itinerary to fit round the weather. We really enjoyed this trip so much better than the other one we did

Excellent

Robert was brilliant and there is nothing about volcanoes that he doesn’t know. A very interesting man and very knowledgeable. Pity about the Norwegians on the tour who can’t tell the time and even though clear instructions of 10 mins to be back at the coach were given, were over 1 hr returning. Would suggest that customers are to return to the same coach seats as it did cause trouble between customers.

The guide was great. My friend and I asked if we could walk down to the salt pyramids, and he said he would come with us. Other people then followed, and he was telling us all about the process and different types of salt. The driver was also very good and we had a safe and steady drive.

Lanzarote was beautiful however there was not enough time at each stop, it felt very rushed and the guide, although friendly, did not speak clear enough English for us to fully understand the commentary. Lots of time was spent on the bus, it was not a wine tasting just one sip of one wine.

Poor

We enjoyed the itinerary and the driver was impressive but the guide was very disappointing. The guide was repetitive and often incomprehensible. Worse, she frequently spoke over the recorded commentary so that we were unable to hear it. Towards the end of the tour she played music on her phone and sang along very loudly and out of tune, completely for her own amusement and with no regard for any of her customers

El Golfo and Timanfaya national park excellent. Very good explanations from the guide. Visit to the salt pans also interesting, they were scraping the salt piramids the day we were there. The visit to the vineyard was just an opportunity to taste a local wine. No tour ,explanation of process by owners or visit to the press which was a shame. But the main event the tour of the lunar lanscape of yhr national park was mind blowing.

The tour guide, David was fantastic. Very informative, funny and appeared to enjoy the tour as much as everyone else- he and the driver are a credit to this tour! Very prompt pick up and drop off and enjoyed the music on the bus in between. Although it didn’t bother me, I would suggest changing the name of the “wine tasting” as it was just one small sip so some could find this misleading.

A lot of money for a 4-hour round trip. I would have recommended it if it ws cheaper. The guide was explaining in2 languages therefore she was going too fast to male any sense.

Really enjoyed the volcano and lagoon part of the tour. Could have missed the salt lakes and the winery part. It was interesting to hear about the how the vines are grown but stopping off at the winery was a bit of a sales pitch? The place was dirty and toilets were disgusting. The guide was was really nice and the driver very talented driving around the single track volcano roads!

Easy pick up/drop off. Great way to see a small slice of Lanzarote. Driving through the national park was a highlight- we had a great driver! Overall the tour lasted about 6 hours but felt like it went very quickly. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Only downside is that some parts went very quickly would have been nice to look around a bit more and no where really to eat, we brought snacks with us but didn't really have a chance to eat.

The collection point was not sent to me I had to phone for a map. The timanfaya tour was excellent. The wine tasting a waste of time just dropped at a wine shop essentially - the green lake - no tour information given - just let out of coach to see it for ourselves.

Overall enjoyable but although experienced the guide Robert was overbearing had a bit of an ego issue and came across patronising this was also the comments made to me from others on the trip, I understand English is not his base language but the script was littered by the words “**********” and “**********” not appropriate I voted enjoyable for the sightseeing content but not for the guide give £90 paid I would think again if given the choice Sorry Mike

Informative tour guide, with a good sense of humour which really made the tour. Loved the area and beautiful scenery. Only negatives were didn’t have long at each site, I thankfully brought food for the children as you don’t have time to eat anywhere really. We were also the first pick up so had an 1:15 mins worth of pick ups before we even started.

Highly recommend this trip! It was so interesting for Adults and children. The guide was really knowledgeable and friendly. The driver was awesome, I defo wouldn’t have wanted to drive those roads. The national park was really good, with the added demos made it really engaging, the views were phenomenal. The salt flats were really interesting El Golfo was also really different and interesting to see. The wine stop, less interesting but nice all the same. Small sample of wine. A great trip!

The trip could feel a little rushed when at the place that we could get out, no time to grab something to eat, extremely quick visit to the toilet and shop, which is strange as thought they would give us more time to spend money to help local economy. On the other hand we didn't have to wait for entrance or the experiences as our guide lead us straight through. Would recommend doing the trip by coach as the queue to enter was extremely long with a 1-2 hour wait

Dennis the tour guide was very informative and great fun....the experience was top (hence around 10 scores) I've learnt alot about the Island and seen some unforgettable scenes and vistas. Our driver was great fun too and made everyone fel welcome and more importantly safe whilst the drive...especially during the more difficult parts of tye Natuonal Park!

We enjoyed all of the stops on the tour, the national park in particular was fantastic. Our guide Chris was very knowledgeable and she provided us with lots of interesting facts along the way. However the day was very rushed and most stops were for 20 mins or less which limited our ability to get any food/drink. As we were picked up at 8am and returned at 3pm this was not ideal. We also spent over an hour each way doing pick up/drop offs. Ideally the tour needs to be longer to allow for lunch.

'George' our guide was really engaging and made for great memories with us repeating 'Ole, ole' since returning from our trip. The journey through the rocky volcanic scenery was spectacular and the time at the stop to appreciate the heat of the volcano through demonstrations was great to see. The stop at El Golfo was enough time to see the attraction but as close to lunch could have allowed a few more minutes for food as couldn't eat on the coach, but otherwise great trip all round.

Knowledgeable tour guide and the national park is a must see due to the impact on, and understanding of the island. We liked the experiments at the top and views amazing. The vineyard wasn't really wine tasting in its true sense, but you did get to choose between trying a shot sized glass of sweet or dry white wine. We did then buy a glass of wine and sat admiring the views which were lovely and brought a bottle to enjoy at the hotel. More time at the vineyard would have been great.

I loved all the elements of this tour our guide was brilliant and kept a very tight time at each stop. I would have loved a little longer at the cafe at the first stop as we had kids with us (who take a while to eat). The volcanoes are stunning and the demonstrations are class! Really liked the walk around the salt farm and the little shop that you could buy gifts. The bus had amazing air con which was welcomed as we went on a hot day. Overall I'd highly recommend!

My partner and I really enjoyed this tour. The landscape was fantastic to see. We felt it was well paced with just the right amount of time at each attraction. The tour guide was friendly and informative and it was overall a great experience. There was also access to toilets and opportunities to buy refreshments at each stop. We would definitely recommend this experience.

A must excursion, brilliant from start to finish. So much packed in to half a day. Sights were unbelievable and the bus driver was outstanding on the roads up and around the mountains( don't know how he does it).The guide was brilliant too talking you through the Volcano history and the history of lanzarote and how it came to be.

Poor english guide, no where near worth £50, I’d give it £20 tops, last time we book with this group for excursions. Very disappointed in this as the entire experience was on a coach essentially and the coach was dirty and we had limited view from the coach. ‘Wine tasting’ is a mouthful of white wine and the ‘salt flat / salt tasting’ is a bit on the back of your hand. Otherwise the other bits were poor and should not be booked. Very disappointed all round.

Guide Maria and driver Maria both fantastic. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The winding volcano pass roads are a little bit spooky on the bus but driven expertly. A little bit pricey but a lot of little bits included, some areas feel a little rushed which was a shame but understandable. And after seeing the queues of private cars waiting to get into the fire mountains you realise its all worth every penny when the coach drives on past them all.

The overall experience was absolutely brilliant. Driver very experienced through narrow roads. Guide very good, knowledgeable and funny. Some of it isn't for people with disabilities. I did struggle a little. Would recommend to anybody but be careful with disabilities.

There was no ‘wine tasting’ as advertised. We had a sip of wine at a gift shop, no explanation - in fact no words exchanged with the people there. A pointless stop, waste of time which could have been better spent with a little longer at each of the proper visits.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stop with the demonstrations, but the drive through the Park with the commentary whicj was very interesting & informative. It was good to stop occasionally to take photos. The guide's knowledge of the wine making area was very good & we understand the reasons for stopping, but we were not really interested in wine tasting & it was a little crowded. The history of the salt pans was interesting, but felt tacked-on.

This tour is great! Fascinating tour of the national park and volcanoes with the experiments also. El Golfo was magnificent and the salt flats also interesting. The wine bodega was a good stop to have a quick snack and a look in the gift shop there. Would absolutely reccomend this trip - we all (2 adults and 2 kids) loved it!

After I answered a question my son asked I was told by our guide " if you want to talk while I am on the microphone, you can sit at the back of the bus". We weren't loud or overly chatty. I disliked her from then on. The volcano tour was good, I could have done without the salt flats, it just seemed liked filler.

The tour itself was rushed, half hour to look at things, the ‘wine tasting’ was literally a shot of wine, then you have to pay for everything else!! That’s not really tasting in my opinion- 1 shot!! There was a medical emergency, that the tour guide sorted really well- this was not the main reason for the rushed tours , it had been rushed before that. The tour guide was a cheesy, laughing at her her jokes, that no one else laughed at, and she kept saying wrong things, then saying ‘ignore that’.

The guide was excellent, was she called Eliza? She had a difficult medical situation to deal with and she handled it excellently. The tour itself was OK, but there weren't enough proper toilet breaks and it felt a bit rushed at Timanfaya. Another mixup over pick up in Arreciife.

Enjoyed the whole trip. Very interesting, our guide Alissa has a lot of knowledge, was very easy to get along with. Our safety and enjoyment were the priority all trip. I would definitely recommend to do this of you have not done so already. We did have a medical emergency on our trip when someone fell ill, but our guide and driver both acted calmly efficiently. Our driver was amazing navigating some difficult roads.

Maybe I’m biased, as we last did that trip 24 years ago, when the island just wasn’t that busy, but the whole trip felt rushed, which ruined things somewhat. Yes, of course it was worth the volcanic tour and the amazing demonstration at the end, but when everything was “back on the bus in 10 minutes” and the queues for the toilets were longer (and some needed a coin for access, which we didn’t have and weren’t told about!), it was hard to enjoy the trip.

Positives: very interesting and informative tour with a knowledgeable guide and excellent driver. Negatives: we spent over an hour driving around picking up other people. This is ridiculously long and had the misfortune to do the same in reverse at the end. This is grossly unfair as some guests get a much better experience than others. The visit to the winery was unnecessary at a time when everyone was hungry. Be clear on how long the day will be. 4 - 8 hours is too broad.

The Timanfaya tour and Green lake were great. Personally I didn’t think the salt flats were very interesting, it would have been better to add 45mins onto the time at the Timanfaya restaurant or Green lake restaurant as there wasn’t time to get a drink or walk very far. It was only a half day trip, possibly it tried to pack too much in for me. The guide was great and very knowledgable. The bus was comfortable and modern

Some people said the tour is a little bit rushed, but I think it couldn't have been better thinking we visited 4 different sites in 6hr. We loved the vulcan tour, 11 km around the crates and lot of info. El Gulfo was wonderful and so the salines! Really recommended

There was a bit of dodgy science about volcanoes from the guide that was a little bit annoying. There was a bit of audience participation required by the guide that was also a bit tiresome. However, it was well run and kept to time which is impotent to us. The guide was hugely passionate about Caesar Manrique and clearly loved Lanzarote which we really appreciated and led us to find out more about sustainable tourism on the island. The driver was impeccable.

Great excursion, highly recommended. It runs in good tempo, not too fast not too slow, kids have no time to get bored. The guide is great, lots of interesting information. We were back to the hotel before lunch closed. National park is accessible only by bus so this tour makes perfect sense.

The history of the Salt Flats was interesting but Very Rushed !! The (Wine tasting) was a Tiny swig of Dry or Sweet Wine & that was it !! not exactly Wine Tasting if you ask me. Very Disappointing.... Timanfaya Volcanic Tour itself, was Amazing & very much the highlight of the day. The Loo Break was about 10 minutes when there were large queues, was not good.... If you want to Experience Fire Mountain Restaurant, that is a Separate Excursion/Experience...

Zoutvelden en wijnproeverij kunnen wat ons betreft achterwege blijven, of iets uitgebreider. Timanfaya tour was leuk, vooral de demonstraties. Rondtour was mooi maar had van mij wat korter gemogen. Misschien is een extra fotostop een idee nu reed de bus vaak door. Gids George deed goed zijn best maar regelmatig wat te overdreven/kinderachtig.

Enjoyed all of it. You cram a lot into 4/4.5 hours, which makes it great value for money. Guide was very informative and the driver very good at his job.

The guide was informative and fun. We were picked up at the arranged time. The only slight downside was the wine tasting which was really just a stop at a big souvenir shop. No look around the vineyard. No explanation of the process. And such a tiny taste of wine.

This tour crammed a lot in, in a short period of time. Our tour guide George was great, very personable and fun. Driver Victor was brilliant. However, I feel we could have done with 10-15 mins more at each stop for photos/shopping. It felt like we were on a tight schedule at all times so there wasn’t really the chance to take photos or purchase gifts. I would have enjoyed a bit more of detailed wine tasting rather than a small glass with no discussion about the wine or how it was made.

Tour guide Jaime was very knowledgeable and with great English. Driver was good too, friendly and skilled navigating those bends. Price seems £1 each more on the app than when I looked on the website and the day after I booked I see a 10% off voucher in the app so feeling a little screwed over on an otherwise perfect day.

The overall tour was great. Guide very knowledgeable and the scenery was superb! Loved the volcano experience section. The salt mining was a bit random and there wasn’t really a lot to do there although again the scenery was amazing. El Goncho lagoon is really pretty and could have done with a bit more time here to appreciate this. And wine tasting was too much herding around to grab your drink. Lovely views again and a quick stop at the shop and wasn’t too long to wait for everyone else.

Our guide, George, was excellent. He spoke fluently in English and German. I liked the way he alternated between speaking in English first and then German first, so neither nationality was always second. The driver, Pepe, also did a good job and our journey was very smooth. I would have liked more time at the winery, and perhaps a chance to see the vines growing. The green lagoon was not as interesting . The trip was advertised as 'food not included', but there wasn’t an opportunity to buy any.

Our tour guide Rachel was so informative about the surrounding area and history. Great tour guide and bus driver - who seamlessly drove around the Timanfaya volcanoes. We would have enjoyed a little more time at the vineyard with such a massive souvenir shop there 25 minutes with a wine taste wasn't quite enough, the shop has so much to offer!

The actual tour was interesting and my daughter (7) really enjoyed the demonstrations. At times it did feel a bit rushed but it’s a popular site so to be expected. I felt safe with the guide. The guide was amazing, so knowledgeable and friendly. It was good to have 4 different stops to see different things and to drive right through the lava flow roads. I wish we had more time at Le Golfo as this part of the trip was stunning and we only had 20 mins - we could easily have had less time at the winery. Also, it did seem a bit expensive per person.

Although the great benefits of being on an experience and the time saved There was a slight sense of urgency and time restriction for "mooching" at the various stops. I'm sure if needed we could have discussed this with the guide, but especially at the Timanfaya stop I felt little time to admire the venue, so mush so I didn't enter the visitor's centre/shop. However all in all some amazing stops and especially good timing with the vine yard stop (timed perfectly to see the harvesting).

Timanfaya section was excellent, El Golfo and Salt farm worthwhile but the winery a joke. Not wine tasting, which would be to be provided with 4 or 5 glasses of different wines and talked through tasting and the wine type. This was just a minuscule thimble full of one wine sample with no explanation. Just basically a shameful excuse to get a coach load of tourists into a retail shop to buy wine and souvenirs. Total letdown.

The tour guide was great. Felt rushed at volcano, if you wanted to get a drink or something to eat it would have been impossible to do that, go to the toilet and look around shop. ‘Wine tasting’ wasn’t really that as only can try one wine. Too much time spent at salt lakes, about an hour, when 30 minutes would have been better as there is very limited food and drink and it was lunchtime when we were there.

Our tour guide was amazing!!!! Very informative knowledgable. As it is only a half day trip, you do have limited time in each area. But this worked out great for me and my partner as we didn’t really want to commit to a full day tour. The half day trip will last 4-5 hours.

TUI guide recommended that tour was suitable with an infant. However, not really infant friendly. On a coach which we weren’t allowed to feed on. Not TUIs fault, but other guests on tour were extremely rude and very anti-children making ourselves and another couple with a young child feel very isolated and ruined it for us. 2 x stops (wine tasting and salt) basically tourist attractions to sell items. Tour guide excellent and so was coach driver. Actual volcanic site very interesting.

When I asked our rep for details on this trip, he didn’t give me much. I’d asked how long we’d be on the coach for (as some of the group had travel sickness) and he’d said an hour there and back. He didn’t tell us almost the entire time would be on a coach. I wish there would have been longer at each stop. The stops were SO short we didn’t get to see and enjoy everything. And we had to pick between seeing the sights or looking in the shop/getting a drink etc. no time for both. disappointing

We really enjoyed the Timanfaya Volcanic Tour! Our guide Iranzu was very engaging, informative and friendly! Our driver Paco was amazing, too, especially on all the narrow roads by the volcanoes at the Timanfaya National Park. I’d just recommend having less time at the salt works and more time at El Golfo as it was very beautiful there but we couldn’t enjoy it enough. Other than that, great experience, would definitely recommend it! :-)

Booking the tour was a nightmare as did not see a TUI rep for the whole holiday and so we had no-one to talk to regarding which were the best tours etc. We leave for home tomorrow and still have not seen a TUI rep. We have never had this experience with Jet 2; you must try harder.

It was excellent, we visited several places and what made it special was the fabulous tour guide . Not only was he friendly but had great knowledge about the island and looked after each and one of us for our safety. Well done TUI we will certainly look at booking another coach tour on our next holiday .

There is a cafe at the visitor centre in the National park, we were given 45 minutes to watch the very interesting demonstrations, take pictures, visit the loo and go round the gift shop. Another 15 minutes would have allowed the chance for a drink and enjoy the views of the park from the cafe, out of the wind and across the area that was out of bounds to visitors. I don't know if coaches are time limited, but if not, the time could have been made up from shortening the time at the vineyard.

Really interesting trip, guide Stefan was a mine of information about the island and its history. Several stops, all of them brief, no more than 30 mins at each one but I think enough time for us to have a quick walk and take photos. The trip the Timanfaya Park was amazing, the volcanos and lava field was stunning. The road through is full of twists and drops, not for those who get travel sick easily. That said, our coach driver was very good!

Booked through the app which was very easy and convenient. Picked up and dropped off at hotel next door, again very convenient. It meant only one pick up and drop off which was great. Tour was really interesting, all information given in English by friendly and knowledgeable guide. We didn't feel rushed, had enough time at each place. Would recommend.

The breaks at the volcanos weren't long enough to do anything in- not able to get a meal or sit down tea and cake. The salt flats were dull, as there wasn't much to it and it didn't really include a tour or much information. El Golfo wasn't worth the hype. The scenery as we drove through was interesting and the vignettes at the main site were good but it would have been nice to have a chance to taste the BBQ food or to get a cuppa. The escort was good.

It was well worth the a visit to the National Park. The scenery was stunning and how all the stops linked to the history of the last eruption was fascinating. We really enjoyed ourselves. Make sure you bring food with you as it can be a long day with pick ups and drop offs. We were out for 7 hours in total.

I really enjoyed the tour, Christina was very passionate about the island and I really enjoyed learning about the volcanoes effect on the lives of those past and present. John was a superb driver and kept us safe throughout. I can't fault the tour at all. If I could suggest anything, a print out would be cool to give a visual of what is happening with a lava flow, or a visual of the chain of volcanoes on the island.

Interesting tour with a friendly and informative guide. Quick pick up at about 4 hotels and shortish stops at each attraction but plenty of time to appreciate the arid beauty of the national park from the comfort of the coach. It’s a good idea to take water/ a snack as there isn’t an opportunity to buy lunch, though we were back at the hotel by 3pm. Well worth the money if you want to see a bit more of the island, learn a little about its geography /resources , but don’t want a hire car!

The itinerary was great, but we thought it was only a morning trip, advance warning about taking food with us would have been great. Also the wine tasting wasn't really upto much, a tiny drop in a glass, not what I expect if it says wine tasting experience. Our guide and driver were spot on. I would have preferred an all English speaking trip, as our guide had to do everything twice, hard for him, and to be honest we lost the will to listen as he talked to us.

We didn’t have enough time at the volcano, salt flats or green lake to buy a coffee and look around. Your on strict timescales and food/coffee not allowed on the bus. An extra 10/15 minutes is all that would be required. Local businesses would benefit too. Apart from that the tour was great

Tour was excellent with the tour guide being very knowledgeable. national Park tour was excellent. Additional stops were also interesting. The leg room in the coach was very limited and my husband who is 6ft 1 couldn't fit his legs behind the seat - this made the trip very uncomfortable for him.

Temanfaya absolutely brilliant, early stop at salt processing plant! Why? Boring, stop after Temafaya to winery just an opportunity to take some money off of you. Picked up at 7:30, no breakfast, no time to stop for food, 15 minute stop for loo AND not allow to eat on coach. Not back until 3:30 basically because in Teguise we were first pick up but last drop off. Only advantage of tour was you go to the front of the queue at the Volcano. Rip off in my opinion.

Great trip a good 4 to 5 hours seeing the best of the national park and southern landscape. Good way of visiting fire mountain and surrounding area as bypass the car queues. Our guide abriham was very knowledgeable and kept everyone informed and interested. Only downside was the wine tasting didn’t know which wine was offered had to purchase a glass of wine to try ones you may or may not like. Could give this part of the trip a miss. Otherwise a worthwhile excursion.

An amazing experience! It was great to see the island and understand its history of volcanoes. The host was fun and the tour was one of the best I’ve been on. There were 4 stops, which included the volcanic tour, salt farms, wine tasting and the green lake. There was chance to buy refreshments, souvenirs and there were toilets at every stop. Great way to explore more of the island.

This visit was exceptional thanks to our guide, Germa, a Dutch lady who was incredibly knowledgeable and proud of Lanzarote, and went out of her way to give everyone a very informative and fun experience. We had not only a full history of the island, and an insight into its developments, but a full tour of the volcanoes in Timanfaya, à demonstration of the heat of the volcano, a guided tour of the salt pans and a visit to the vineyard.

This tour was called the Timanfaya Half Day Tour so why did we only spend 15 minutes at Fire Mountain and 30 mins at previous stops. We didn't even get time to go to the toilet at this Iconic spot. I think most people would have foregone the wine tasting to have more time at the mountain.

Good trip - unfortunately our coach route through the National Park was severely reduced due to a broken down coach stuck on the circular route ahead of us, but, we did see the terrain and volcanoes. The wine stop was OK. The emerald lake was an interesting photo stop. Salt works interesting. Jon - guide very knowledgeable and pleasant and Juan - driver, good calm driver. Would recommend this trip.

The pick up on time, the driver was amazing and the guide was super funny and informative. I felt we had enough time at each stop as we had to cover quite a few stops. The access to the park was great, we skipped the queue all the way. The drive through the park was not for the faint hearted but I loved it. The wine was only a tiny sample but we would a glass and just enjoyed the views over the unusual vineyards, I'll say no more. We did spot this tour cheaper but we felt reassued with Tui.

Our tour guide was fantastic, spoke very good english, had a great knowledge of the island's history, and was clearly very passionate about her job. The bus was clean and well air conditioned. The salt flats were a great element of the trip - it would have been nice to have seen the workers actually operating the machines / collecting the salt but they must have been on a break. The volcano tour was really good, glad we got to bypass all the traffic!

Enjoyed everything but can’t get a sunbed unless I get up at 6.30 as the hotel lets people put towels down.. and people go out on tours and get back at 2.30 pm and beds are reserved contrary to the hotel advertising that sunbeds can’t be reserved.. lots of people complaining around the hotel at this .. I have been in hotels where this is enforced and people are much happier!!

There were issues on the coach with people moving seats after the different stops during the trip. Guide forgot to make clear at the beginning for people to stay in their same seats which caused some issues. The wine tasting as it was advertised as at the end of the trip couldn’t really be classed as wine tasting. Just a mouthful of wine and you could only try either red or white not both. Not what people expect if it is advertised as a wine tasting experience.

Timanfaya is great, and that is what we booked/ were expecting. Would have been good to be able to spend more time there. The bus stopped off at a winery, salt fields and several other places. It was boring and too hot for my 7 year old who was not interested and only wanted to see the volcano. Had we know what it would be like, we would have not done the excursion.

Myself and my 16-year-old daughter really enjoyed the tour! The volcano experience is definitely the best part, very impressive. Our guide was great! It would’ve been nice to have more time at El Gulfo and less time at the salt flats, but we loved it. The tour was in German and English. Bernardo the tour guide was absolutely fantastic, very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. The bus tour around Timanfaya National Park was absolutely spectacular and I couldn’t recommend it enough. The salt flats were quite interesting, again Bernardo’s knowledge enhanced this visit. El Golfo was very picturesque and the visit to the the vineyard was great, I can recommend a Lanzarote sweet white wine. The only downside is I would have liked a bit more time at the vineyard to try some food.

An amazing interesting and engaging tour. Our guide Christina was amazing, we learnt so much about the island as well as the locations on the tour and the balance was managed perfectly and she was so lovely. Make sure you make use of the toilets when you can and take some water! There’s also some gift shops along the way. If you’re looking to get some culture on holiday, it’s a great half day tour packed with info, Amazing value for money and would highly recommend.

The tour guide Chris and driver Augusto were really welcoming. Chris was very knowledgeable and witty, she kept the tour upbeat and moving well. The national park was the star of the tour, we were the first coach and enjoyed the demonstrations and drive through the volcanoes. The visits to El Golfo green lagoon, salt flats and winery were an added bonus. Overall an efficient, interesting and fun experience. The queues for cars were so long and the coach had priority which really made the trip

It felt quite a con and only being able to try one out of the many wines there was annoying as we had been looking forward to this and expected to try at least three wines.

We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Gemma was superb - knowledgeable and happy to answer all our questions. We felt the number of stops and pace of the trip was about right. Whilst it would have been nice to stay slightly longer at Timanfaya we could see from the queues as we entered that it wouldn't be practical for tours to stay much longer. We learnt lots and the views from the coach were amazing. Perfect for anyone interested in the natural world/nature.

I know there is a tour that does that but I wasn't aware of that when I was booking trips. Enjoyed the sight viewing and the salt flats. Favourite part was the wine tasting. The trip was fantastic with a very knowledgeable guide who could fluently speak 3 languages with little difficulty. The coach was there early waiting for us and we had no issues locating it. If there was to be a downside, the short amount of time available at the various shops made it almost impossible to grab a bite to eat or get souvenirs. As we also had a hire car we ended up going back to the Bodega.

The whole tour was great. Our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic - made us all look at rocks in a whole new light! Fascinating landscape at Timanfaya with dramatic scenes all around you. The only part of the tour that was less interesting was the salt flats but think that's because it wasn't really the season for it. Overall, well worth the half day.

Great tour with lots to see. Long time on the coach from Costa Teguise but can't help that. Would have taken more snacks and drinks as left at 8 and returned at 2:30 although these were available to buy but limited time and went on a very busy day. But overall really enjoyed it and would recommend it. Don't wear flipflops unless you like gritty feet - I wore trainers which was a good choice.

We enjoyed hearing about the history, seeing the national Park, the vineyard and the ‘Green lagoon’ visit (although we enjoyed the coast & coffee place more). We didn’t really appreciate the salt flats/ fields. We also didn’t feel there was much time out the coach at Timamfaya NP, so maybe they tried to squeeze too much in to a half day? Fantastic that we got into the NP before the traffic and the info was great (although didn’t enjoy the ‘dramatic music’ on the automated talk, hurt our ears!)

The guide and driver on this tour were the 'dream team' Abraham and Orlando. Very knowledgeable and entertaining and Orlando was a very considerate driver helping to make sure we were always safe. It is a busy day but takes in so much of the island - so not time for a coffee etc. toilet breaks were provided.

We enjoyed the tour overall but with some reservations. The pick up was a tui cock up which delayed not only our tour but also another one. The time allowed at each part of the tour was not sufficient. The wine tasting was a waste of time and an obvious ploy to get you to buy wine. The time spent here would have been better allocated to the Timanfaya visitor centre.

Great value for money and shows a good variety of places given it's only a half day excursion. The Fire Mountain's tour is a good way to see the volcanos & craters in sufficient time and helps get passed a que of private cars. The vineyard / wine tasting was great for grabbing some local wine & the souvenir shop has a huge variety of things. The salt flats was a good way to round of the day before finishing the excursion, you can grab some snacks, drinks and various things that are made on site.

Pro’s Guide and driver were excellent. A lot of very knowledgeable information about Lanzarote as a whole. The different places that we went to weren’t dragged out as sometimes they can be. Con’s Couldn’t find the hotel we were being picked up from. Coach was almost half an hour late, especially when they tell you to get there 15 minutes before the experience. You should be told to take snacks as we had left our hotel at 8:15 and only just made it back for lunch at 14:45

It wasn't always easy to hear the tour leader during the walking parts of this experience, probably because of the size of the group. 2. Not a problem for us, but I heard a fellow traveller remark about suing for compensation when the hot pebbles were poured onto our hands at the visitor centre. Probably said in jest but something to consider

More time should be spent at Fire Mountain. Trip pick up we were first to be picked up and last to be dropped off, as all hotels are in Play Blanca there is no reason why drop off could not be reversed. First pick up meant rushed breakfast and last drop off meant very late lunch. Tour guide emphasized at every drop off that excursion did not include tips that some people could find intimidating and would feel that they had to leave a tip.

It was really informative, the guide was brilliant the way she chopped & changed from German/English/Spanish very impressive. The only thing I’d say was bad was that the coach had a window that needed replacing as it was all frosted inside so you couldn’t see out of it. This really spoilt the view on one side for those of us sat at the back. Apparently the window has been like it for a year yet the driver has reported it, this is a bit shoddy.
