What we expect

Known as ‘Little Dubrovnik', Korcula town is full of historic sights and it's more than easy on the eye. Along with the wine-producing area of Peljesac and the walled village of Ston, it's one of the star turns of this fascinating excursion.

Korcula town is perched on a peninsula in the northeast corner of the large island of Korcula. After a short stop in Ston, we'll reach the town after a boat ride across the Adriatic from Orebic. And once you've stepped inside the honey-coloured town walls, you'll find a slice of vintage Croatia that's all red-roofed tiles and marble streets....

The old town is beautiful. The guide again being the same guide had a poor experience with on another tour was not great and lacked interest.

Enjoyed every moment of this tour. Great guide (Sonya) and Driver (Josef) Well balanced with plenty of free time to enjoy Korcula and the Wine tasting. Maybe a little longer at Ston but understand we had a boat to catch. Sonya was excellent. It was a mixed group of English and French and she handled it really well. Must have been very tiring for her having to speak in two languages all the time. Would highly recommend this trip.

Nice mix of coach tour up to Korcula, boat trip across to the island (only a few minutes) and a walk around the island (time to eat and a guided tour around for about an hour). Then finished up with the wine tasting at Peljesac on the way back.

The experience was advertised as an English tour, but it was mostly conducted in French because 95% of the group were French-speaking. Had I known this, I would have cancelled. The guide tried, but on the coach I couldn’t focus on the limited English commentary due to the constant French narration. The bus was almost full, yet my family of three — including my disabled wife and young daughter — were forced to sit apart. Several passengers kept bags on empty seats and refused to move them.

It was not made clear that the trip would be a twisty turning road , this resulted in my wife being sick and we had to leave the coach at the first stop and get a taxi back to our hotel.

Very enjoyable day. Pick up and drop off at our hotel was a real bonus. Guide was excellent and we were more than satisfied with the trip. Beautiful scenic drive.

I enjoyed the tour but the guide isn’t among the best guides I’ve experienced over the years He was over twenty minutes late in arriving at the hotel without any notification about delays in arriving, then didn’t really apologise other than saying it was a busy day. I was expecting a bottle of water as promised in the description of the tour, I’m still waiting. I’ll certainly travel to a TUI holiday again but hope I never experience the same guide (very poor customer care)

The places visited were very interesting and our guide provided a wealth of information and history. I appreciate that the coach seats have to be maximised, but a lot of time was taken up making pick ups and drop offs, especially as we were the second pick up and the last drop off.

Good value for money; the drive towards Korcula through the Peljesac penninsula let us experience the beautiful countryside north of Dubrovnik. Everything was well organised. Both the local guide and our main guide Tomasz were knowledgeable and interesting. There was a good amount of free time on Korcula. The wine tasting and wine museum on the way home was also very good. The trip was dual language and the French guests talked throughout the English commentary - but that wasn't TUI's fault!

Enjoyed stop at Ston but would have liked a bit longer. Loved Korcula & local guide was very nice but her voice was too quiet & often couldn't hear what she was saying. Weren't too keen on the wine museum & found the wine too dry but it suited some people's taste. We were told we would have a bottle of water for the trip so didn't take any. As we weren't given any we had to spend time in Ston finding somewhere to buy water when we could have been sight seeing.

The guide was exceptional and provided good clear information every step of the way. Itinerary was outlined at the start. The only part we felt didnt really work was the wine tasting, it wasnt very good. Overall we felt the excursion was very enjoyable.

The tour was really enjoyable, the guide was very knowledgeable and the views along the way were stunning. The only issue was the amount of travelling involved. From our hotel, it was 2 hours by coach to Korcula. A beautiful place, well worth visiting, though

Absolutely loved the tour with our guide Lucy . Very informative. Had amazing time on the island . Walking around harbour . Great visit and would recommend it . Little Dubrovnik explains it perfectly. Also our bus driver and guide on bus great . Felt very safe in there hands Tom did fabulous job as our tour guide for day and again very informative. Impressed with his languages . Thoroughly enjoyed day

The guides fantastic and Korcula Town was great The only drawback was the wine tasting. It took too long to go round the museum as the presentation was in 2 languages. Also when the poured the white , rose and red, some got a fair sample while others got barely a mouth full. I was the latter. It would be better to use proper measures to ensure everyone got the same amount. Also the ticket stated you would get a bottle of water each, there was none. Luckily we took some of our own.

As the coach driver reversed into a tree and the back window smashed, we had to wait an hour for a new bus. This meant some visits were shorter than planned as they tried to catch up time a bit.

Families around the vineyards were so warm, welcoming and accommodating. Wine tastes so good and snacks too. My favourite was the last wine in the last family. Thank you for the experience.
