We did this trip previously and it was far better. You now charge ridiculously high fees for the satfey equipment, which was previously included. Our stop over was so rushed and pointless. No time to enjoy

Arrived at what we thought was going to be 2-4 hours of dune buggying, swimming in a natural cenote and coffee tasting at what we thought would be a ranch. Was very disappointing when all 3 of these activities were all in one place , the dune buggying itself was in a group line for roughly 30 minutes of driving, at no point were we allowed to fully accelerate The cenote was man made and overcrowded and the coffee ranch was a souvenir shop with a speech Overall, a falsely advertised experie

Amazing trip and guide. However we booked through TUI for a certain day and waited for over an hour for our transport that did not arrive to be told that it was not running this day and they had arranged it for another day without telling us.

The overall experience was fantastic, a little more organised and it would be perfect. Various people do approach you to buy however just politely refuse, they are just doing a job. Very nice people and excellent activities

I enjoyed some parts, but other parts i did not feel safe. I feel like the buggies themselves clearly need servicing. The first buggy we had kept cutting out, then it cut out completely, we had to change into another one, which was even worse, the steering was not aligned, i had to gauge direction by just turning the wheel and hoping for the best. I feared for my life, even when the steering wheel was straight the buggy was not going straight it would go in another direction, we didnt get lunch

The buggy ride was great fun and the swim in the cenote was really refreshing on such a warm day. Only complaint would be the experience was not long enough and would have liked the opportunity to drive a bit faster!

The buggy ride, village experience and cave were all brilliant. It was rushed from arriving at the centre. You were ushered into the gift shop to sign disclaimers that they did not give you time to read, and thrust a shopping basket into your hand to buy things. The start of the trip you drive along main roads where local children are begging and running along side the buggies. It felt dangerous and was distressing to see. I felt they could have warned us of this prior to the start of the trip.

In the description it states we get a swim in a cave and also a visit to a cenote - we never went to a cenote which was extremely disappointing. The main attraction for me was the visit and chance to swim in a cenote - especially as my partner has never been to one. There was no explanation for this just told to get back on the bus and taken to our hotel!!! Considering the money that I paid this was overpriced for what was actually offered. Staff were also too pushy to buy photos

Great trip out. Pick up on time. Staff/guides great. Did try to get us to buy things in the shop but weren’t too pushy. Lots of time to drive round in the boogies and opportunity to swap drivers. Cave pool was amazing (should have brought our pool shoes though!).

Fantastic day morning out- staff all incredibly friendly. They do take you to a shop first before getting in the buggies and although the staff are all lovely they are as expected a tad pushy so be prepared for that. Very dusty so make sure you do bring your sunglasses and an bandanna for your face. Cave swimming was refreshing and a great experience - music - shots - swimming

This trip was brilliant. The guides are very informative and well organised. Photographs are also available to buy if you wanted. The trip advertised a snack which we did not get. This was not an issue for me and my husband but it should not have been advertised as including this as other guests may have wanted this. Overall I would recommend this trip.

Overall, the excursion was enjoyable. The route on the road with children chasing the buggies and drivers having to try to avoid them was a little alarming though and felt dangerous. The trip said it included a snack but there was no snack. The cave swim was lovely, if a little short.

Everything went as planned, the staff in TUI Redditch are always very helpful and informative. We booked Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar in Punta Cana and absolutely loved every minute of it. The staff go above and beyond and are always smiling, the hotel complex is huge with lots of different restaurants and shops. I would definitely recommend TUI and Bahia Principe to friends and family.

Enjoyed the whole day it was very well planned and enjoyable. The only thing i would say is local village children as going to become injured should they keep running to the vehicles for cash. It would maybe better to have a set stop point to give local families donations

A great half day - we originally wanted to book the evening tour but glad we didn’t. The cave is beautiful and the buggy ride is good although they could do with a good check over as steering and breaks were laughable. We didn’t want to pay the hefty price for photos although they were cheaper than any other experience we went on but in the end they did a deal where we paid $50 for all 51 photos Recommend this trip as it was fun and well organised and good to get out of the hotel for 4 hours

The trip itself was great and the buggies were great fun. The only downside was on our arrival when we were ushered into a souvenir shop. The guy selling jewellery was unrelenting, making us feel extremely pressured into buying vastly overpriced trinkets. When he started grabbing my partner it was time to make our exit. He still kept on at us as we tried to leave, leaving my partner shaking and a little scared.

Good few hours out of the hotel. Had a good day,however the evening tour is a lot more fun and you get more for your money. The info you get about the country and its products is a little bit more in depth in the evening tour but still useful. They should do the events of the day in reverse order. You have fun on the buggies but then your excitement dies down as you have to walk around and in the heat. Cenote was nice but have seen better

The buggy were not in safe working order at all. The steering on our buggy was in need of service/ repair. I work in the moter trade and this would not pass a mot as we went on main roads during this experience, they should be safe to do so. One of the buggy in front of us the suspension collapsed luckily no one was injured. All in all the experience was average, not as described, would i recommend this experience no.

- the tour guides were nice and helpful - You got about an hour on the buggy, and there was a chance to swap driver which was nice - we weren’t offered any drinks or snacks as advertised on the TUI website - it constantly felt like they were trying to sell us stuff ($100 for photos, buy drinks, buy snacks, buy souvenirs)

Cave buggy tour - became Adventure boogies. Put on a different tour clearly as you didn’t sell out the other one. Made to wear a wristband which identified us as different but no reason given as to why. The other experience was cheaper than what we actually paid for for our one. At no point we’re we offered a refund for the money difference. We didn’t visit a traditional house. There was only one swim experience and not the two advertised. There were no drinks and snacks included as advertised.

This was an interesting experience driving on tracks, roads and across a main road. For me it was too much of a procession without the opportunity to have a blast ( which was one of the strap lines) I would have enjoyed spending longer in the buggies and less time in the souvenir store.

The Cave Buggy tour was a great excursion on our holiday. We particularly enjoyed the buggy tour, prepare to get muddy! The tour offered coffee, tea, hot chocolate and all we available to buy at reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend this trip! The swim in the center was very refreshing. A very well organised excursion and fun for everyone involved.

The tour itself was fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely do it again. However the guy that picked us up from the hotel drove like a complete idiot to which both myself and my husband had the same thoughts, 1. We were going to have an accident and end up in hospital. Or 2. This guy was kidnapping us. I have never been so terrified whilst travelling abroad in my entire life. I feel tui need to look into this! However the driver on the way back was fantastic.

We both enjoyed driving the buggies and the national park activities, However the excursion was advertised as a Macao Beach and buggy tour which we never ended up going to the beach which was a shame. The whole excursion felt rushed and just a way for the locals to get money out of you which was a shame I probably wouldn’t recommend this excursion as we felt ripped off in the end.

The overall trip was great. The first 2 hours were a bit disappointing as it was just sell, sell, sell. We then got a dance from the locals which was fun. When we got the the buggies we enjoyed that.

We did enjoy the experience however sadly there was a lot of waiting around during the experience and the heat of course was a little unbearable. We also were advised that there would be a snack - there was not - and water was supplied in a black bin liner which was not quite enough for all to have. The beach visit was literally 10 minutes, a shame as it was truly beautiful and would have liked to have spent at least 30 mins there. Otherwise the staff were extremely considerate, attentive.

Good fun trip, for all, very organised experience, loved the terra cross buggies & the Dominica village fab organic coffee & hot chocolate sampling (an absolute must buy) with a natural Cave swim experience after the buggies, great fun but very dusty & mud pools so don’t wear anything that your to fussed about, swim shoes are a great option, didn’t enjoy the 15 min stop a Macou beach (too rushed) or the children encouraged to beg & run at the side of the buggies very dangerous and saddening

Overall a great day out .... If had to be critical then 15 min stop at a beech is way way to short it even included the walk from the buggies so macho beech was literally walk to beech go in water for 2 mins and as I dried myself down the whistle went with a cry of time to move on ... Would be safe to assume that this would not meet health and safety standards of uk but as I say overall a good day eventhough a bit lacking in communication as an ongoing theme

It was a great day out however I feel that it was in the wrong order. You swam first which meant you spent the rest of the day slightly damp. We were rushed from one thing to the next. The only thing i didn’t enjoy was the beach break in the middle of the buggy trip. Again we were given very little time to enjoy the beautiful beach and there were a lot of men trying to sell things. Overall it was a good day though.

This was fun. We were in a massive convoy, wasn’t expecting so many people having done this in other countries. A few of the buggies broke down en-route with one almost catching fire. You are harassed the entire journey by children at the side of the road begging for money. Macao beach beautiful but again approached by many people trying to sell you things. The caves were amazing!! Were given cold bottled water after which was very nice as it was boiling hot outside and the buggies don’t have roofs so the sun is beating on you constantly. Very well managed by the staff considering there were so many of us, they did a great job of keeping us all together and on time for where we needed to be. Some kind of lunch or snack included would’ve been good as didn’t get back to hotel until after 3pm and we’re starving by then.

Trip worth doing, abit longer than expected, almost 6 hours door to door from dreams royal beach, be prepared for people trying to sell you various items and photos with animals at the beach pit stop, also a number of beggers on the trail asking for a dollar. Still glad we did the trip though

We enjoyed the buggy experience and the experience gave us plenty of time driving them around. The swim in the cave was also good fun and relaxing. The beach visit was full of people trying to sell you stuff which meant you could not safely leave your stuff, relax and go for a swim. There was also barely any drinks provided (one bottle of water), no snacks and they ran out of coffee and chocolate when it come to the tasting so we did not get to experience that.

Unfortunately if you didnt have any gear with you ( bandanas and glasses, we did ;) ) you had to pay extra for them. Also the info for tge trip stated that you had snacks included on the tour and we didnt have any. Also the children and their familes begging and trying to sell you things on the dirt track roads was very disturbing. One child was actually hanging on the buggy in front of us when it was being driven, it was all very sad to see and disturbing.

Loved everything about this trip. Highlights were sampling all the coffee and chocolate, watching the tribe perform, swimming in the beautiful cave actually riding the dune buggys they were so much fun, you get super muddy but its a good laugh and then swimming on macao beach.

The stop at Macao beach was rushed and not worth the visit, Cave visit was good but rushed. Buggies were great. Overall it was a good experience. We were 3 adults, 3 kids aged 7, 9 and 12.

The buggy ride is a lot of fun. We didn’t get very muddy but those people in the more open buggy’s were covered head to toe. Either way it was a great experience. The stop at the cenote and the beach was too short, barely enough time to get in the water and back out before being whisked off again. The experience was organised chaos which was such good fun and I would definitely recommend doing.

Nothing was explained to us other than we were the orange team and that we mustn't overtake. It felt just like a sales tour. Each time we stopped it was all about selling something to us rather than the experience. We weren't told how long each stop would be, it was get off try sell us something get back on. We had ten minutes on the beach at the most for photos to be taken for them to sell to us and that was it. I believe snacks were supposed to be included but none were offered(nit that I wanted any). The whole experience just felt like a selling exercise which we were very disappointed at, as this was my partners 60th birthday and it was supposed to be a great day. I would not recommend this excursion, it needs to be greatly improved, it could have been a really good day if delivered correctly.
