On this trip, it's just one of three scenery-packed locations you'll visit, alongside Candelaria and Anaga Country Park. Jonay, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘Anaga Country Park is unique, and it's been listed by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve. It's home to one of the last primeval laurel forests in the world. The minibus never turned up. We waited an hour. We finally got through to TUI in London, not an easy experience. The tour guide lied and said we hadn't been at the bus stop. We had been there 60 minutes including being 20 minutes early. Horrible experience. Getting up at 0630 am on the first day of our holiday only for the trip to not even turn up. Will never book another excursion with TUI. Still waiting for our £160 back

The drivers were friendly and informative but were not licensed to come with us We were therefore dropped off in old town without any knowledge of what we should be looking for and not enough time to get anywhere We then drove through the forest where the views were completely obscured by clouds and dropped off to make our way through the rain to see a couple of beaches for 20 minutes only The lunch was served at top speed It was more than £70 each Nice people but poor value for money

We booked an English only tour. We were the only English people on the 8 seater minibus. The German was translated into English but communication was sparse between guests, especially at the rather average lunch (Nice view though! ) The back row of the bus had trouble hearing the commentary. The stops were interesting. The staff were professional and friendly and excellent drivers. The minibus was comfortable. We would have preferred less stops and longer at the Basilica and La Laguna.

Mysigt med mindre bussar men jobbigt med 2 språklig guide. Föredrar guide med bara engelska. Vi hade en jättetrevlig chaufför i vår minibuss och guiden var också duktig och kunnig men som sagt jobbigt med 2 språk ??

Tour was advertised with English guide, but instead we got a German guide who said he could not translate everything into English. NO guided tour of La Laguna, guide directed us across the road and we were left to wander ourselves. Our small bus ended up being part of a convoy where the guide talk was relayed into our bus by walkie talkie. About 70% of the German was translated to English. Positives, the scenery was awesome, our bus driver was friendly and the bus was clean.

Zeer mooie excursie. Zeer goede gids (engels talig). Veel bij geleerd over het eiland. Ik begrijp dat op sommige plaatsen weinig parking is, maar iets meer stop plaatsen met meer tijd was top 10. Maar ik zou het zeker opnieuw doen. Een echte aanrader.

Overall a really good trip. Ivan our guide was fantastic. Great funny character with excellent knowledge of Tenerife and good driving skills. Loved the trip and all the viewpoints and stops. I do echo the other reviews regarding Tui and their allocation of timings. More time is needed in La Laguna and for exploring a bit more in the Anaga mountains. Lunch was ok not going to complain like some others it said it would be traditional and not fine dining, it was all edible and you had a great view.

Die Tour ist natürlich vom Wetter abhängig und wir hatten das Pech das oben alles in den Wolken lag, durch die Passatwinde könnten wir die Aussicht nicht genießen. Aber trotzdem war die Tour sehr schön und sehenswert.

De gids / chauffeur was erg enthousiast en wist enorm veel van het eiland in detail te vertellen. We hebben veel gezien en meegemaakt. De dag ging te snel voorbij en was goed voorbereid. Je moet qua weersomstandigheden wat geluk hebben en dat hadden we gelukkig. Heerlijk op de berg in de wolken staan en vervolgens klaarde het op waarna we honderden kilometers ver weg konden kijken. Lokaal eten geproefd wat ook goed bevallen is. Kortom; een aanrader!

The guide was very good, professional and friendly. He told a lot about history, culture, geography of island, food and habits of local people; and answered all our questions. He was very friendly, polite, treating everybody with respect, with good sense of humour! The food was included in price, that was good; the food was quite ok. We were not so lucky with weather on top of mountains, but it didn't spoil our experience anyhow. We still enjoyed the tour.

Ivan was excellent he was knowledgeable, humorous and adaptable. The tour was very good Last stop was a little off as most shops closed as siesta and little else to do so felt like a stop gap Lunch let it down - food was poor, cafe looked grubby as did server. Toilets whilst clean were broken - one had no seat and other cistern was broken very basic

Enjoyed Trip to Candalaria and the next stop at the beach. The mountain views were good but spent too much time there and not enough time in other places. We were told that it was a mini bus trip but a Volkswagen van turned up with three rows of seats - 9 people were squashed in like sardines. Access to the rear seats was not practical. We were NOT able to hear the drivers commentary and do not think he should have been talking as well as driving on such mountainous roads. Not recommendable...

Gids Ivan was top, hij vertelde veel en was erg vrolijk. Het uitzicht onderweg was ook prachtig en de inbegrepen lunch erg lekker. De stops vonden wij niet allemaal interessant. Het is wel leuk om het noorden te zien als je in het zuiden verblijft, maar wij hadden wel het idee dat er leukere tours bestaan.

The Spanish driver/guide Ivan/Ivor was excellent,he was friendly and was extremely knowledgeable,he made the day fun and enjoyable for his passengers. It could only have been improved by having perhaps 1 less stop or shorter stops at the beach and viewpoints to give us more time at the 2 towns we visited as it didn’t really allow time to fully appreciate them. Enjoyed the scenery and stunning landscape/views. The lunch was average,very hot in the restaurant though the view of the ocean was nice.

Die Haltepunkte waren teilweise zu kurz. Bei den Haltepunkten und beim Mittagessen ist die Reiseleiterin nicht bei der Gruppe geblieben. Infos waren teilweise nur rudimentär. Z. B. La Laguna. Alles was gesagt wurde ist, das die Museen seit Corona geschlossen ist, der Dom Eintritt kostet und man 4 Tage über La Laguna reden könnte.

This was Tenerife Villages and Anaga, not the tour shown above. We should have been told this was a minibus and not a coach tour. Although in English the guide was Spanish, we had 4 Germans, 4 Polish and 4 English. The guide was very amusing and informative but his accent was rather strong. The road noise in the back of the minibus was loud and we couldn't hear the guide at all well. Fortunately we were able to transfer to the front and then had a great time. The scenery was stunning all day.

Dieser Ausflug ist aufgrund der vielen sehenswerten Stopps überaus empfehlenswert. Sehr enttäuscht waren wir vom Mittagessen. Hier würden wir TUI unbedingt empfehlen Änderungen bezüglich des Restaurants vorzunehmen. Wir kamen uns wie in einer schlechten Kantine vor. Die Mehrheit der Teilnehmer waren dieser Meinung.

Eine tolle Tour durch die Berge des Anaga Gebirges mit atemberaubenden Ausblicken. Die Tour fand in einem Kleinbus statt, der mit 8 Personen schon etwas eng war. Aber unser Tourguide José sorgte schnell dafür, dass wir das gar nicht mehr merkten. Er erzählte so interessante und spannende Fakten über Teneriffa und das Anaga Gebirge, so dass die Tour nicht eine Sekunde langweilig war.

Le transport en minivan est tres bien . Notre guide excellent. La reserve d’Anaga est exceptionnelle . Etonnant meme pour une ile « seche ». La fin de la visite avec la visite de de la plage ne nous a pas plu. Rien d’interresant en fait .

The excursion was great and the villages were stunning. Ivan our driver was great, however, would have been nice to have guided us around the villages at some points but we had a good wander and were shown where to find interesting areas. Lunch was suitable but the canarian potatoes had that much salt on them it was crystallising and people were scrapping it off with knives and spoons.

One of the best TUI visits we have had on Tenerife. Thoroughly recommend to anyone that likes forests and views. Would have been even better if we had longer at the Anaga and Laguna stop and cut out one or two the of the other stops. ALL TUI TRIPS VISIT TOO MANY PLACES AND ARE BADLY PLANNED. Again with the Masca trip too little time at Masca and other stops of little interest.

Too long on coach. Not long enough at some stops to enjoy what was to he seen. Maximum stop 1 hour fir lunch, rest were 25 minutes. Coach was for 8 guests. We were split and then had to change seats with a gentleman. I had middle seat at back. Most uncomfortable.

This is a whistle-stop tour of the north of the island. The scenery is very impressive, the guide was friendly and knowledgeable. However the meal provided was the worst meal out I have had for years. The food was bland with the main course being a pork chop, three small dry potatoes with a slice of lemon and the wine was awful. The reviews of the restaurant are quite respectable so I can only assume that the food provided to 'paying' customers is of a better standard. Take your own!

Enjoyable trip that could have been improved if the church we went to see at Candelaria was actually open !! Also a mix up on pick up, we were told to walk 15 minutes to a pick up point but the mini bus called for us at our hotel
