Ripped off by tui. Was charged a different price in the the hotel by the tui rep vs what I would have paid using the tui app. Should have been told this at the welcome meeting. Then found out that you could go to this bar without paying the Tui price at all.

Enjoyed the overall experience but didn't like the whole coach ehen leaving the hotel waited 20 mins past departure time because a lazy family could not get there due to doing her hair. The rest of the part lost out on time. Would recommend maybe a 5/10 min grace not 20 mins

Waited to long to eat , the food was terrible , we had to wait for the dancers to set up this all took 1hour and a half from start to finish , staff were friendly but seemed to concentrate on the diners they already had .far to much money for the quality of the food plus there was hardly any food left , not for us

This excursion was amazing, Sunset dinner with entertainment. The best night of my holiday, the staff were friendly the beach bar and whole place was amazing, and the food what can I say, tasty, lots of it. The Sunset made it. Every this about this trip was fantasic, wxcellent value for money, well recommend doing this dont miss out.

Die Abholung lief unkompliziert. Die Fahrt war nicht lang. Vorort wurde englisch gesprochen. Es gab ein Begrüssungsgetränk. Schöne Aussicht zum Sonnenuntergang. Das Essen war lecker, man wird davor gefragt ob Fisch oder Hähnchen gewünscht ist. Die Feuershow bringt einem etwas näher an die Kultur. Es war ein schöner Ausflug, jedoch hätte die Abholung am Ende etwas früher sein können.

Same restaurant as the 4x4 Jeep day, staff were good. Food order taken by staff but not table service, was a buffet. African dancers, drums were very entertaining. Generally a lovely evening.

The sunset dinner was very disappointing. The coach journey was dreadful. No aircon, very rough. We felt ill before we arrived. Once we arrived we were sat outside away from any entertainment with our children. The food was poor, all fried with no variety, yet other customers were eating lobster and fresh seafood. THE TOILET FACILITIES WERE DREADFUL . Very unhygienic. Would not recommend at all. The live drums were good. But all else was very poor.

Op basis van eerdere reviews zagen we een uiteenlopende ervaringen set, geen begeleiding vanuit TUI bij het ophalen. Onduidelijkheid bij het vertrek richting het hotel, twee verschillende TUI bussen (groot en klein). Onduidelijkheid wanneer en of de kleine bus zou komen. Beetje geforceerde setting op locatie... niet zelfstandig foto's maken van de zonsondergang, twee drankjes inbegrepen en maar een gekregen, buffer liep wat rommelig. Personeel wel vriendelijk, maar rommelige setting

The only negative was the pick up being 1 hour late, which meant we missed the sunset ?? The TUI bus driver simply said sorry and made a sleepy gesture - totally unacceptable. So we only had almost 3 hours at the dinner + entertainment. Once there it could not have been better. Food was simple but good and plentiful. The best part was the African dancing and bongo type percussion show. Complete with an amazing fire dancer it was incredible. Audience participation top notch too. Great value ????

The whole evening from start to finish was fantastic. It was my birthday and they made me feel really special, from having our table set beautifully, best seats in the house for the dancing, drums and fire man, to a birthday cake and the singer singing happy birthday to me my husband and I would definitely recommend this evening. The photographs from the sunset were perfect . Thankyou for an evening to remember x

the food was lovely and the show was good, but the fire performance made the whole night. the driver to the venue didnt speak at all and seemed like he would rather be somewhere else. the staff at the venue explained what was going on for the evening when we got there, but then we were left sitting at tables for quite awhile. At first it seemed abit disorganised but as the evening progressed the food and show made it all worthwhile..

Bobby said that the sunset here spectacular nothing like that we arrived 10 minutes before sunset nothing amazing , we had only 2 drink free. the dance was not great / just jumping up and dawn. the chairs were uncomfortable. £65 each person were very expensive considering our food and drinks were free in hotel anyway. we both complained feedback on RIU site waiting for response so far no response !!! we have asked for refund

You can't predict the weather when booking in advance, it was such a shame that it rained and was very cloudy therefore we didn't get to see the sunset. There was supposed to be an African drumming show around an atmospheric bonfire, there was no bonfire! The article also said you'll explore Boa Vista with an expert local guide by your side, this also didn't happen. Although the food was delicious, I thought it was expensive as we booked via the Tui Rep at 65 euros each, lot cheaper on the App.

Werden opgehaald door.de bus maar waren volgens de medewerker van de strandtent te laat en welkomstdrankje hadden we gemist. Eten was redelijk, maar twijfelachtig.aan hygiëne en voedselveiligheid We hebben de kip terug gegeven want die rook vreemd en de eerste hap was echt zo vies. Hier was iets mee aan de hand. De medewerker vond dit vervelend. De Afrikaanse show was leuk. 2 drankjes is wel erg karig. Wel.goed betaald voor wat je krijgt.

This was a beautiful setting in the middle of nowhere. The bar and beach provide an excellent opportunity to take memorable photographs of the sun setting. They also offer photo sessions at an additional charge. 2 drinks are included that you have to order at the beginning of the evening, as do you let them know what meat you'd like for your main meal. Food is buffet style. The entertainment was loud and energetic.

Fantastic night, the African dancers and the fire show were amazing, never seen anything like it. The food was good and the atmosphere as a whole was superb. There was a problem with the mini bus coming to collect us this could have been communicated more clearly, however I would highly recommend the sunset dinner

My reason for giving a low score on the staff question is that there wasn’t a tui rep to be seen only the driver I really think this needs to be addressed as we didn’t get any checks or advice regarding the bus but we did get good information by the guide at the sunset dinner

The event was well organised. Nice free fruit punch on arrival and then photos on the beach in front of the sunset by a photographer which was brilliant value at 30euros. We then had our first free drink with lots to choose from both alcohol and soft drinks. The starter was wonderful with lots to choose from and encouraged to return for seconds. Fire dancing and African dancing was great fun with everyone encouraged to take part. Main course was a choice of steak, chicken or fish and agin lovely

We enjoyed the dance on the beach and setting a lot. The food was the biggest disappointment. As we attended the same thing back in 2020 and was serviced full meals. We thought we was having the same experience until our food which we ordered at the table we had to queue for and pick what we wanted again. The table service to order food seemed pointless

Great experience - the staff and performers were fantastic and very lovely. Liked that it was not too far away and the transport was prompt / comfortable. Liked that ordering drinks was easy. Only change would be for table service as opposed to buffet - I would have paid more for that.

Outstanding Performance and great food. The staff were really friendly. The show was beyond excellent, the energy of the performers were incredible, they encouraged people to get involved which added to the whole experience. I cannot recommend this trip enough, highlight of the holiday so far

Pro's, Fireater good, we did see the sunset, but colours not good due to the poor weather, but this was not TUI's fault. The singer was ok.Cons, I'm hypersentitive to peppers/spices, Rep Hannah messaged them to inform, they have a board in buffet saying they will ensure there are no problems, I let the guy in charge know, I asked aout every dish from the servers, still got 2 items with peppers and spices in, luckily I only got a few mouth blisters. Hubby & friend were ill shortly after returning

This was a fantastic evening! The staff, the food and the entertainment! Recommendation… make sure you have cash (euros or local currency) as the entertainment look for tips (and well deserved) however no one warned us of this! But overall a fantastic trip!

Liked the overall experience. The food service was a bit slow and the starters were a bit stodgy, a salad option would have been good. Entertainment was very good but I found the attempt to sell us trinkets by the entertainers after the event unpleasant.

The experience was great. The staff and service were excellent. The food was plentiful and of good quality. It might be worth telling future participants that if they are in a group that they need to ensure the venue knows before that they want to sit together. We got split from our friends because we hadn't been told this by the rep. However the venue were great and tried to accommodate us.

The entertainment was very good. Food was varied, plenty of options, both starters & mains we were offered to go back for more. Staff were friendly. Lovely sunset. Coach was on time both ways. Got collared for photos with a photographer, I was disappointed with the photos as they were all the same close ups and none of them included the items that surounded us eg, sitting on the swing & picture frame, we didn't buy them which was obviously disappointing. No soap in ladies toilet.

We was collected 25 mins late and driver apologised but said he forgot Missed sunset as as soon as we got there we was quickly told to take our seat so they can take drink and food order and we was put in far corner so we couldn't see anything anyway Food wasn't great but the entertainment was good The rep told us there was a live band playing they started at 9.15 and we got collected 9.30 Overall not worth the money could have stayed at the hotel and watched the sunset for free

Overall a lovely evening but did not like queuing up for food, queuing to pay for photos. We were queuing and waiting around to get in. Felt like a lot of the evening we were just waiting around. The show was excellent and the sunset beautiful!

We enjoyed our experience. But the seating is very uncomfortable. The venue was not what we expected. As the band was not a reggie band. The fire show was good. The drinks were very expensive and there were dogs in the venue. It was not what we were lead to believe.

Very Poorly organised TUI customers sat inside to dine, so by the time the entertainment was ready to begin there was no seating left around where the show was, the show itself was great the “massive beach bonfire” was non existent. No TUI staff during the event to raise any issues, definitely would not recommend this

The coach trip from Riu Toureg was a little arduous, and we were ready to return around 9:30 but the coach wasn’t dye to arrive until 10:30 so we git a taxi back. Around €30. The food was amazing with plenty of choice for everyone. The show was fantastic. If i was to do this again id definitely make my own arrangements and do it in my own time. Its definitely a must do if coming to BOA VISTA ?????????

Der Abend startete holprig, da der Transfer 20 Minuten zu spät kam. Danach wurden wir freundlich empfangen und konnten kurz am Strand Fotos machen. Beim sogenannten wahren Sonnenuntergang mussten wir umgehend uns zum Essen begeben, doch das Buffet und besonders das Steak enttäuschten. Alles wirkte etwas gehetzt. Ein privater Ausflug mit dem Taxi wäre günstiger, romantischer, entspannter gewesen und man hätte essen von der Karte wählen können. Somit hätte man Bedienung und auch die gleiche Show.

Overall the evening was very good the only criticism is that I would of liked the singer to sing more reggae songs in English then I think it was Portuguese there was only English people there and think I was getting the same vibe from them on the coach on the way back but overall a good enjoyable evening

Had mobility issues, guide did not secure close seating on coach or venue. Was not adults, kids were present. Missed the sunset as Tui driver was late due to pickups. Price was expensive for a basic meal with 2 drinks over 6+ hrs.... Fire show was very poor! Not a good experience and waste of money. Should get refund!!!

Unfortunately we had to leave early has my partner started to feel unwell, but the staff were very helpful and arranged a taxi back to our hotel, but speaking to other people we bumped into the next day around the hotel complex, they said it was a most enjoyable evening, and who's to say we won't come back to boa vista and do the sunset experience and hopefully enjoy the whole evening's entertainment.

No complaints about the sunset dinner and live music, however TUI could do with improving their time keeping, as we were told we would be picked up at 5.15 and it was 5.45 when the bus arrived. So to me everyone paid 30mins for just sitting around, how can that be fair. We did this activity last year and clearly, the time keeping hasn't improve.

Our guide/transport was 25 minutes late picking us up. When we arrived we were given a disgusting sweet cocktail. We wanted to take photos of the sunset but were hounded by photographers. Had to be very firm and say no more so he left us alone. Food was terrible. Told in advance coeliac and vegetarian. Not catered for. Entertainment wasn't that great. People smoking near us. When we got there’ we were told to stand in a line had no idea there would be so many people,we had to stand there for 10 minutes while they tried to get organised. When it was time for starters there was nothing left when we got there because we had be dragged off to have photos taken . There was plenty of main dinner but not wort ££114 for two. No tour guide at venue. Food was mostly infested with flies. Food cooked on hot plate not desirable. Request well done steak. After 2 attempts at cooking steak gave up as not acceptable. Dancers were not as expected and drummers went in far too long. Didn't appreciate tip bowl been put out and made to feel uncomfortable for not tipping straight away. Far too much time spent on their phones. Experience not sold as advertised. Dancing atrocious expected better costumes

Unfortunately got on bus my party of 4 were separated , as no seats together. Our tui rep arranged for one of my party to have a seat reserved in front due to mobility problems. This was not explained to us and told to get on bus and noticed a mini bus arrive to take other guests. Unfortunately there was no sunset and welcome drink was very small. Dinner was good and so was Afican show. Staff very helpful and made sure everything was ok. Then left before other music started.

The experience was a really good experience Not so impressed with toilet facilities. No hand wash and nothing to wipe your hands on, apart from A dirty old rag. (DIDNT USE!) Men's room the toilet flush was only partly flushable. Cocktails were taken away before we finished them, as were outside having photos taken. Got back to table and they were gone. What does the safety & security question relate to? It was a common-sense trip, with no mention of the off-road detour. The welcome and service were very good. Being a vegetarian, the food choices and taste were much better than at the RUI hotel. Soft cushions should be offered to disabled people when sitting on a bench to watch the African dance. Quite a few disabled people were struggling to walk in the sand in the restaurant, plus it was a bit steep to go to the bar. Too many flies.

Staff worked very hard to make it an enjoyable evening, enthusiastically getting people involved and checking things were okay. Disappointed with the non-existence of a vegetarian main dish other than the side dishes that everyone could help themselves to. Enjoyed the evening but think it was overpriced. Drinks should have been free, they would have been free in the hotel, which we had already paid for.

The experience was ten out of ten, unfortunately the night we went it was cloudy so we didn’t get to see much of a sunset but the enthusiasm of the staff was so catching and they were very efficient. The food was good and well cooked and the staff cooked it just how you wanted it. Lovely staff and great venue. The bar put our table next to a family which also wasn't great. Romantic meal next to exicitable children. NOT great for a honeymoon. Straight after the starter a photographer led us to do a good 10+ poses in various locations and then led us to the paystation which felt like we were part of a assembly line but the photos were mostly lovely. The show was great but not what was expected. Still waiting for photos we paid for by email!

The experience was amazing, the staff were very friendly and put on a great show. The food was a buffet service but the main you had a choice of fish, chicken or steak. We chose steak and it was the best steak we have had in a while, the chef cooked it to perfection .The only downside was on the way back from the venue to the hotel, the van we were collected in was not very safe, the door kept flying open as the driver was turning corners. However the experience it self was amazing.

Staff were friendly. One staff member too drunk and was asked by others to go and didnt feel overally comfortable.Food was okay but not wow. No mention of sunset or where to view. Wasnt aware that extra money was needed for photos. I know this is not cornnected to tui but not received them.Evening dragged on too long plus there were only 2 drinks included with the event which involved us having to buy more which again added extra cost. Been on similar experiences this had no wow promise as said

The venue, view and staff we're amazing. There was alot of waiting around. We got there at 5.45pm and had our starters at 6pm. We waited 1hr and 30 mins for the the show to begin, which was brilliant. We then had mains, which was ok, but both the chicken and steak were cooked together and weirdly tasted the same, desert was nice too. We then listened to live music for 1hr before our transport arrived. Overall an unforgettable experience based on the location, staff and show. Thank you ??

The staff at the beach restaurant were excellent, very attentive and always making sure everything is OK. The African dancing and fire eater was brilliant and very entertaining. Only downside was that there was too long in-between the first course and the start of the entertainment. I understand that it's so people buy drinks etc but it could put people off as it seemed to take a long time in between

African live drumming en vuurvreter was leuk, de starter bij het diner was niet te eten, de wijn was dramatisch, locatie was alleen op resort toeristen afgestemd, in restaurant werd alleen edm muziek gedraaid wat je wellicht op Ibiza wil horen maar ik zeker niet op Kaap Verdie, de live reggae band die volgens TUi medewerker heel goed zou zijn was bijzonder matig, Al met al bijzonder matig en kostbaar, en behalve African drumming een dikke onvoldoende. Je kan beter op RUi resort blijven.

Welcome drink glass half full. No soap or towels to wash& dry hands. Only 1 person serving, meant long waiting times. Only 5 food 'options' with no labels., A nightmare for my food allergies. Thank God for bread & butter. A complete mis-selling of 'Sunset Dinner' as we could not see the sunset whilst eating dinner. Restaurant was large wooden hut, so it was like eating dinner in a sauna. Finally got outside, sun had already set. Hard sell of bracelets from the 2nd rate Fireman after meal

Very short staffed, so waited too long for first drink & food, which we had to ask for it to be replenished as trays were empty. The entertainment was good. Told they weren’t serving any beer for second drinks (don’t know why?) I asked about the waiting & lack of staff, to be told that most of the staff were on a day off!! Only 2 people serving, which for that amount of people was unacceptable. This is the 2nd time we have done this & was very disappointed with this event.

Een gids was er niet alleen bij het ophalen was er een persoon die een Tui shirt aan had maar daar bleef het ook verder bij. bij het restaurant aan gekomen bleek dat er alleen Engelsen waren, wij hadden begrepen dat er ook Nederlanders bij waren maar helaas het restaurant bleek dezelfde locatie te zijn als bij onze vorige excursie (4x4) was ook niet gezegd. de vuurwerk show en dans show was geweldig . Tui verdiep je meer in begeleiden en voorlivhting excursies.

Had a Great time, value for money, good entertainment. Did look a bit dodgy when arrived the coach had to go of road and the restaurant looked like it was made of pallets but when we got in we were very surprised just goes to show appearances aren’t everything. We had a great time dancing and getting involved only problem was we didn’t get to see the sunset but that didn’t spoil our evening.

Goed georganiseerd. Erg attent. Aandacht voor elk een. Alles netjes geregeld. Abdoella heeft ons netjes verwelkomt. Engels was goed verstaanbaar. Alle werknemers hebben hun uiterste best gedaan om het ons naar onze zin te vermaken. Elk van ze zijn heel netjes ,liefde vol,en fatsoenlijk. Ik heb mij niet verveeld. Eten en drinken was perfect. The evening was dampened by the fact that despite it being an adults (12+) excursion there was a couple accompanied by two children under 7 years of age in our party. During the evening we felt our enjoyment was spoilt by said children running around the tables and on/off the stage while there was an act performing. Other than this it was a an enjoyable evening with good food and live entertainment.

2nd trip booked through tui. Bus was late by 15 mins even though the bus was at the hotel 10mins early ! 2nd experience of no tui staff at the event thrown off the bus with no instructions. Seated no where near the other guests left till last for instructions as so far away from the other guests. Restaurant on the whole lovely just a shame lack of tui reps spoilt the experience

The whole experience was something authentic and special. We had a few issues with the hotel so this experience was a refreshing change. I loved the beach vibe and the same between our toes as we ate. The food was fresh and the hosts amazing. Even though it was touch cloudy the sunset was beautiful.

The only thing I would change is mate offer a later pick up time as the staff said they had a reggae night from 10-4am that we could stay for but our pick up was 9:30. So mate the option of say a midnight pick up so we could enjoy the later entertainment if you wanted to

The entertainment was exceptional. We were made to feel welcome in a friendly environment. The food was unusual. Not sure what part of the chicken I had and all the pieces looked the same. The pick up driver didn’t know why the venue wasn’t suitable for people with reduced mobility. This caused a delay whilst we found out.

De eerste chauffeur had bijna de sfeer verpest. De man vertrok 15 min later dan gepland. Geen enkele communicatie tussendoor. Vervolgens reed hij naar verkeerde Riu, stapte uit, wederom zonder te communiceren. Gelukkig aangekomen op locatie was het meer dan de moeite waard. De nieuwe chauffeur op de terugreis was erg vriendelijk.

Das Event war rundum gelungen. Es war ein unvergesslicher Abend, tolle Unterhaltung und eine sehr schöne Location. Der Service war super und auch der Shuttle mit dem TUI-Bus hat prima geklappt. Was uns etwas Sorgen bereitet ist das Thema Fotos. Wir haben uns vom Fotografen vor Ort fotografieren lassen und ein Paket für 30 € gekauft. Allerdings warten wir auf den Link, welcher uns nach dem Anfordern per Mail zugeschickt werden sollte. Unser Urlaub hier endet leider schon morgen.

Staff and guide at the bar where very friendly and welcoming, checked on you and kept you organised throught the night. Drums, dancers and fire man excellent. Was expecting a bonfire but it was more a tiny firepit. Only downside was no sun to set but that's just the way it was on the day. Excellent enjoyable atmosphere.

Food was just awful. The welcome drink no good if you don't like orange, no alternative offered. Drinks served in small jam jars. Not worth the money to have to listen to monotonous drumming and pointless shouting. The toilet facilities are disgusting at best. Won't be recommending it

It was a very relaxed and different night. Very enjoyable. Food was lovely (plenty of it). Entertainment was an African dance and got everyone involved (if you wanted) I would sugest taking a light jumper or cardigan as it got a little cool being next to the sea. The only negative if you can call it that is: You sit on wooden crates for your meal and wooden benches for the Entertainment which weren't the comfiest. Some people complained it wasn't nice.Take something with you to sit on if possibl

Weather conditions on the day were not great. We raised this with the TUI staff at the hotel on the day as it was raining and very cloudy all day. We were assured that they were in contact with the provider to assess whether the trip needed to be rescheduled, but no message was received & the trip went ahead. The was no sunset due to the weather conditions & the provider did nothing to fill in the time we would have used to watch the sunset, so it was very boring/uneventful. Waste of money

Good value for money and the staff was very attentive. the show was very good and the food was good value for money also. there were two photographers taking lots of photos which we agreed to buy, and they forwarded by email 48 hours later. they were average and for 20 euro a nice keepsake.

Staff were excellent and attentive, welcome drink very yummy! Food was lovely and they were happy for people to have seconds if they wanted, plenty of food available. Seating very hard and low table giving an uncomfortable evening (were in our 30s). Two drinks in four hours means your paying for alot more in-between (experience feels like its dragged out). African dancers put a bowl out infront of guests and the staff tipped *fake* to get the ball rolling, everyone felt pressured to tip.

Just really disappointing that the hotel have a real big problem with bed bugs we was thier for a week and made lots of friends and they had experienced it I was really upset that more and more case are happening. Loved our time but could not recommend this hotel or place to anyone I say stay well clearer.

Die Veranstaltung dauerte ca. 3,5 Stunden. Die Lokalität war in Ordnung. Einzig das Essen war enttäuschend. Hatte Fisch, der aber hauptsächlich stark frittiert war. Zwei Freigetränke war i.o. Nachdem die Vorspeise noch in Buffet-Form dargeboten wurde, hoffte ich beim Fisch wenigstens auf eine gegrillte Art, die zum Tisch gebracht wird. Leider vergebens. Die Veranstaltung der Tänzer war gut. Insgesamt für 65 Euro pro Person viel zu teuer.

We didn’t get to see the sunset but the meal and African dancers were fantastic. Some of the staff, although were lovely, I felt when I was on my own they were very suggestive and asked for my number and to meet them later. I felt very anxious and uncomfortable in their presence.

The event was lovely and the food great but we had photos taken and paid €30 cash and was given a receipt for this. There is no WiFi access at the bar so you can’t download these on site since downloading d this when back at the hotel. We were told we’d get the photos within 48hrs max after requesting them formally from the email provided. We requested and waited, chased after 48hrs and a couple of days later. Not to be answers the phone number given or responds to emails. Very disappointing

We really enjoyed this experience and felt it was great value for money. We almost missed the sunset though due to viewing photographs taken by the local photographer. There was also a lot of waiting around for the coach to take us back to the hotel once the evening's entertainment had finished and it could have been communicated better at what time the coach would arrive to pick us up.

Drumming and Fire show was excellent. Food was average, with wrong order taken and overcooked proteins all round. Other food on the buffet was excellent. Too many people booked for the space we had, so we were on a table away from all others which was a bit odd. Overall, decent night due to lovely setting and lovely staff.

The bonfire wasn’t lit at this point and even when it was it was more of a fire pit and didn’t give off any heat. Die Location ist einfach traumhaft schön, das Personal total lieb und aufmerksam und das Essen in Büffet-Form sehr lecker. Dazu Live-Gesang, Feuershow und afrikanische Trommelmusik- einfach toll. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the beach bar. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. They explained the evenings entertainment. The meal was delicious, fresh grilled tuna. Yum. The African culture experience was amazing. We took lots of pic and videos. The whole evening was fun and relaxed. I highly recommend.

So we travelled as a four, as we were just about to get on the bus the rep said it was full so walked us to a 4x4 parked behind. As we got to the venue there was a brief talk about the evening and what to expect. They served a welcome cocktail and showed us to our table. We had time for a walk about and photos with the beautiful sunset before being called up for starters. There was music after starters then called for main course. Absolutely amazing steak. Best night out by far highly recommend

Great from start to finish. The transfer took less than 15 minutes. The welcome was good and the welcome drink. The guys at the restaurant are good fun and know how to have a laugh. The food is great and plentiful and you get two drinks which you pick beforehand, one with your starter and another with your main course. The drumming and fire dancing is great, in a li Ely setting. Really, nothing not to love. Thanks for a great night.

This was a lovely evening. We were welcomed by the staff and the evenings events were explained. We had welcome drinks and then sat and watched the sunset which was stunning. The African drums and dancing was excellent with an opportunity to join in. The food was cooked fresh and was very nice. The pick up and drop off was on time and the driver excellently navigated the coach over the rocky road to get to the beach restaurant.It was a great evening and very chilled.

Wir hatten diesen Ausflug explizit unter der Voraussetzung deutscher Reisebegleitung gebucht, da meine Frau der englischen Sprache nicht mächtig ist. Das wurde bei der Buchung im Hotel bestätigt. Vor Ort war jedoch kein Wort auf Deutsch zu vernehmen. Die gesamte Durchführung war auf Masse ausgerichtet. Bei dem landestypischen Kulturprogramm wurden wir zusammengequetscht auf wenig Platz. Hervorzuheben ist jedoch das schmackhafte Abendessen. Zukünftige Buchungen für uns nur bei regionalen Anbieter

African dancing and fire eater were very good. The band were also very enjoyable and talented. However, the sound system at the venue was very infuriating as it kept dropping in and out . Hadn’t realised sun had set and so missed it as we were inside. Would have been good if venue had told us. TUI staff very good .

Really enjoyed this evening. The ambiance, perfect sunset watching spot, the staff, the location, the food and the entertainment was all brilliant. Local talent at it's best. Love the fire eating man. Live band later on too was really good. As you watch the sun setting you have your photo taken in various places. 159 photos cost us just €20. Great photographic memories to take away. We could've stayed a lot longer but our transfer arrived about 9.30pm which felt a bit too early.

The staff were lovely and keen to please but one member insisted we had our photos taken and we said we wanted to watch the sunset but she forced us to pose. Other people saw what she did and commented about how forceful she was. We missed the sunset and it spoilt the evening for us but we gave it a thumbs up because we enjoyed the rest of the evening

Sunset good but free! Dancers / Drums repetitive and even 'Fireman' hardly scintillating. Poor lighting and no sound system made it difficult to follow / see. Initial welcome poor and disorganised - staff just idling until lead man turned up, then much better. Food average to poor and very late due to delayed show - Ssat around for ages! Coach driver great and did well on the sandy entrance / exit. Wouldn't recommend but equally wouldn't dissuade anyone. Could be so much better!

Enjoyed the whole experience, food was lovely and plenty of choice. The atmosphere, the staff were welcoming and attentive throughout and I mostly enjoyed the entertainment. This is our second visit to Cape Verde and the second time we had the sunset dinner. My only gripe is I asked the Tui rep who made the booking to request a romantic table set up as we are on our honeymoon but this did not happen.

Staff were very good and informative. Food was good and the evening entertainment was very good. Only negative was that our transfer back to the hotel didn't arrive on time. On saying that, the Host at the venue was very good and ushered us back inside to sit and wait.

The music and entertainments from the African drummers was brilliant and worth the trip alone, would have preferred a bit more authentic cuisine than the big standard stuff like we get in the hotel. I also think that we should have had water on the table and the place Was open to others on the night and I had to ask the owner to get a group to turn their own music down as it was over the music being played

I don’t think the pick up time of 4:45 is early enough, by the time we had got there, there wasn’t much time for photos and only certain people got asked to have sunset photos taken. An hour journey is too long but other than that the entire night was perfect the food, the service and the entertainment was incredible and very highly recommended.

I liked the whole experience I wasn’t expecting the coach to drive us up on the sand but it was fine. The starters were nice and the entertainment was fantastic, African dancers and drummers who got the crowd involved which was great and a fire eating man we weren’t expecting. Then we went back to have the main meal again lovely and the dessert was delicious. The singer brought the atmosphere back too being chilled before we were ready to leave, so just fabulous.

Tui rep was not on this tour...bus driver to venue and thrn staff from the restaurant instructed us when required. I didn't think the fire breathing part of the show was safe, especially the welfare of the man performing. I don't think it should be encouraged. You could smell the gasoline that he had in his mouth. I would say that the night would of been just as good with just thr dancing and music.

Helaas was de zons ondergang al geweest toen we arriveerde. Dit was samen met de Afrikaanse show de hoofdreden dat we dit geboekt hebben. De show was echt heel goed en heel mooi. Het eten was prima. Alleen echt HEEL jammer dat we de zonsondergang gemist hebben. De chauffeur was heen 15min te laat en terug bijna een uur te laat. Als de excursie een half uur eerder zou zijn en de chauffeur op tijd, dan had het helemaal top geweest.

Enjoyed the food and the entertainment. Staff very helpful. Too long gaps between things. We were asked to sit for the drumming and fire eating at least half an hour before it started and seats were very uncomfortable. Singing at end was nice but went on too long.

Absolutely wonderful evening. Staff at the venue were really friendly and helpful. The show it’s was superb ,a truly memorable experience. Unfortunately due to cloud cover we weren’t able to see a beautiful sunset - but that was beyond the control of TUI. Only slightly negative comment I have was the TUI coach driver who picked us up to take us to the event was not at all friendly. He never spoke to any of the guests, just pointed to our phone to see our tickets then pointed to the bus.

Nous avons réservé le Sunset Dinner & Party au Morabeza le lundi 18 Novembre. Seule remarque négative : dommage que le retour se fasse à 21h30 (nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la reggae night). Il serait peut-être bien de mettre un départ supplémentaire pour les personnes souhaitant restées plus tard.

Loved the sunset dinner trip, food fantastic, staff attentive, entertainment amazing. Downfall was when I received an email from tui saying I had cancelled my trip! When I did nothing of the sort! I had to go see tui rep who had to rebook me and my husband on the trip again and I had to pay for the trip again even though I had pre booked this trip with tui at home before I even went on holiday! Poor service from tui, especially when the email they sent me stated I had cancelled! NO I DID NOT!

Beste, Eten was niet best, er zou hier iets meer aandacht aanbesteed kunnen worden. Iets smakelijker maken en gaarder. Muziek tijdens het eten is voor toeristen niet verstaanbaar en niet interessant. Afrikaanse show was prima. Foto's nog niet ontvangen terwijl het een actie is van één minuut. We wachten af. De foto's van de catamaran tocht hebben we ook achterheen moeten zitten. Wel betalen maar dan als de buit binnen is miet je alles op alles zetten om waar voor je geld te krijgen.

If someone is clearly late for collection…. Leave them. We Wasted 10mins at the palace for a no show and all on the bus thought we would miss the sunset. Update your tour option sheet you hand out to guests. This was not listed to be open on a Tuesday (No white tick) Only the Rep insisted it was when we said it was a shame. Had we have said no (due to the sheet being wrong) we would have missed the best night of our holiday and that was to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. Very magical.

De trip is veel te duur voor wat je krijgt. Voor gerecht vis balletjes, uienringen, kaas met tomaat. Hoofdgerecht keuze uit tonijn, kip, beef. Plat geslagen filet en war salsa. Nagerecht weet niet wat het was..bevroren gebak met vla. De show moet iets Afrikaans voorstellen. Leuk om te zien maar zonde van het geld. Na het eten life band en dat was redelijk. Geen aanrader.

We loved the quirky place on the beach. The staff in the restaurant were all very polite and attentive. The food was ok, (I’m a little fussy), but did eat something. The entertainment were amazing and everyone looked like they were having fun. The TUI staff were very nice too. Overall a great evening ????

We enjoyed the service from the staff at the beach restaurant who worked really hard. There was a lot of confusion on arrival which could have been avoided if a TUI representative had been present. The restaurant was walking distance from our hotel which we didn’t know but would have done and paid for a meal and drinks our selves which would have cost £70 but TUI charged us £170. Even using a return taxi would have cost us over all £90. It’s a ripoff.

Cadre et ambiance très agréable Par contre pour le prix très déçu du repas ! Quand on paye 130€ on s'attend à autre chose qu un buffet avec des fritures - hamburgers etc en entrée et le repas principale poisson beaucoup trop cuit. Nous avions fait la même excyrsion il y a 7 ans c'était bcp mieux nous avions mangé local (langoustine grillée etc )
