The trip was overpriced for what it was. Asked for lunch order twice (chicken) but was given steak. Hemmed in at 2 locations by souvenir vendors and would have preferred not to stop in Sal Rei as didn’t feel particularly safe there. Have bruises from the extremely bumpy ride in places. The tour guide was very good though, personable and knowledgeable. TUI should make it very clear that this trip is only suitable for the young and fit, we returned to the hotel feeling exhausted and battered!

It was alittle scary first of all as drivers go fast and terrain is very bumpy. Byt you relax into it as you go along and uts very e joyabke.. its a long way. Nit for very elderly ir legs tgat done vend fully. But tge day was brluant. Covered alot of island santa Monica beach lovely. Sal rei not so much but tve lunch so relaxing and goid standard. Everyone tge drivers tge tour guides tge waiters the bar staff so lovely. . Talk if island very informative and numerous staff .Safe and looked after

Aufenthalt in Sal Rei hätte etwas länger dauern können. Mittagessen für Single Reisenden lieber in eine Gruppe involvieren anstatt Person einzeln zu setzen. Mittagessen in wunderschöner Location. Großes Lob ebenfalls für Aufenthalt am Santa Monica Beach. Rundum war ich sehr zufrieden und habe den Tag sehr genossen

Vielen Dank an unsere holländische Nein englische deutschsprechende Reiseleiterin Betty es gab auf alles was man noch zu fragen hatte eine Antwort. Jose unser Fahrer war sicher unterwegs und sehr nett vielen Dank und ein großes Lob. Nennenswert waren auch die Besuche in der Wüste Viana das Schiffswrack wer weiß wie lange dies noch zu besichtigen ist. Das Mittagsessen war echt top, allein schon wegen dem tollen Restaurant am Strand apropos ... Monica Beach ist ein Traumstrand....Traumkulisse

Positive: Hugo was a brilliant guide, funny, friendly and knowledgable. The highlight was the lovely restaurant with the best vegetarian food we ate during our holiday! The vibe was really nice here and they were very well organised. Negative: The 'sandboarding' was very limited, we enjoyed it but was very quick, most people only went once. It seems more like an opportunity for local vendors to encourage tourists to visit their 'shop' - was uncomfortable & intrusive. Time on beach very short.

The tour gives you a little bit of everything that is the essence of Boa Vista. A trip to the dessert area some sand boarding, some off road terrain driving providing views and beautiful vistas. The various beaches we visited were stunning. We had time in Sal Rei the main town on the island as well as a lovely beach front lunch. A thoroughly enjoyable day and well worth the money.

Bardzo polecam te wycieczke! Bylismy 16 grudnia i to byl naprawde niezapomniany dzien. Mielismy okazje zobaczyc ciekawe miejsca na wyspie oraz poznac zycie lokalsów, co bylo bardzo interesujace. Program wycieczki byl bogaty w atrakcje, a obiad i drinki byly pyszne! Przewodnik podzielil sie z nami wieloma ciekawostkami i informacjami o historii oraz kulturze wyspy. Byl bardzo profesjonalny i troskliwy, dbajac o nas przez caly czas pobytu. Zdecydowanie warto! Dziekujemy za wspaniala przygode!

We had a really nice time in this experience the TUI reps were absolutely amazing. The only thing we wasn’t keen on was the food as the restaurant but think that was because my husband was expecting steak and got pork and he don’t like pork. We would however highly recommend doing this and have to people here we have met as we do really enjoy this

Das Personal war top. Die Organisation war gut. Die „Attraktion : Sand-Boarding“ mag Grundschulkinder begeistern, ist aber nicht der Rede wert. Wer schon einmal in einer Wüste war, kann über diese Titulierung nur milde lächeln. Ich kenne auf Ameland ausgeprägtere Sandflächen. Welche Bedeutung den rostigen Resten des Schiffswrack beigemessen wird hat sich mir ebenfalls nicht erschlossen. Sal Rei, das Restaurant, die Kapelle und der Strand waren okay. Leider war die Zeit am Strand zu knapp. 3-

Der Ausflug war soweit ok. Mehr Informationen über Land und Leute hätte ich mir gewünscht. Der Stop in der Hauptstadt hätte etwas länger sein können. Auch die Informationen uber die Stadt (Wo befindet sich der Frischmarkt oder Shops) ist deutlich "Luft" nach oben. Der Abschluss Badestop war ok, aber nicht besonders spektakulär. Hier hätte mit ein Stop an den Klippen (mit sicht der Robben) und den ausgespülten Höhlen besser gefallen. Wäre ein Haylite für Kinden gewesen.

An sich ein guter Ausflug. Etwas zu zeitig getacktet. Das Essen ist die längste Zeit beim Ausflug. In Sal hat man nur 30 min. Die Fahrten haben auch ein Abenteuer an sich.

Het begon slecht. Hebben 1 uur moeten wachten eer we opgehaald werden. Bleek dat de gids haar dochtertje een ongeluk had gehad. Te begrijpen natuurlijk. Hebben ze nog iemand anders moeten zoeken. Dan is Sonny gekomen. Heeft het uitstekend gedaan. We hebben veel gezien, goede uitleg gekregen en lekker gegeten. Een aanrader!!

Het was saai. De sandboarding was echt stom en kinderachtig, duidelijk een oud en niets durvend publiek als target voor deze 4x4. De stops voelden niet leuk aan: de lokale bevolking probeerde overal zijn spullen te leuren aan ons en we leken wel melkkoeien. Ik vind dat echt niet gepast. Drank in het eerste café, brol in Sal rei. Reisleiding had ook niet veel te vertellen, weinig info of achtergrond. Eten was lekker bij de lunch. Ik vind deze excursie ZWAAR overprijsd. Volgende keer huur ik zelf.

Preis viel zu teuer. Man sitzt mehr im Auto wie das man was sieht. Leider ist das Zeitlimit viel zu eng getaktet und sind auch über eine Stunde früher wie geplant am Hotel angekommen. In der Stadt hatten wir nur 30 Minuten Zeit, viel zu wenig. Aber für ein Kirche und ein Schiffswrack jeweils 20 Minuten. Das Verhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht. Personal super nett, darüber kann man nichts sagen. Essen auch super lecker!

S'morgens was super leuk, de lunch was lekker en op een mooie locatie. S'middags was een bezoekje aan een heel klein kerkje. Voelde als een veplichte onderbreking. Toen 50 minuten op santa Monica beschikbaar verbleven. Al met al een mooie offroad rit met een hele goede chauffeur. Ik bond 99 euro niet goedkoop voor wat we kregen.

I have C5,C6 prolapse along with L4 & L5. Your representative Bob never told anyone at the meeting that anyone suffering from back or neck, this excursion was not suitable. Next day I went to the TUI desk and told Bob that please inform the guests that anyone suffering from bad back and neck to avoid this excursion. I came across few guests who were also complaining that they were not informed otherwise they would have not gone on 4x4 full day Island Tour.

Whole trip was really great apart from the transportation Very crammed and nowhere to put your belongings. No leg room in 4x4 very uncomfortable ride Not good for people who have issues or concerns back problems. On the good side excellent tour guide & driver and lunch was superb.

Stephan our guide was very knowledgeable about the island and its history. The driver was very confident and felt very safe . The whole experience was fabulous from start to finish. Very well organised. The food was excellent, loved seeing the shipwreck and Santa Monica beach was beautiful. The negatives are that taller and bigger people were a bit crammed in the back of the minibus but we were both comfortable.

The boys, George (Clooney??) and Wilson were both amazing. Wilson was an amazing tour guide and very knowledgeable, the lunch at the beach hut was so good. George was a very good driver and gave good banter ond the tour, we laughed a lot with him. Both boy's were very funny and respectful of their guests. I highly recomend this trip and especially George and Wilson. We walked to the village yesterday and saw Wilson and bless him, He came over to say hello to us. Thank you x

Overall we enjoyed this trip and glad we did it, however some feedback to aim to improve the trip would be: Shorter day (some bits felt as though they were added foe the sake of it e.g. chapel) Shorter lunch, felt like we were waiting around More comfortable seating in 4×4 as significant time spent driving Tips or warning about locals in Sal rei as felt we were hounded and this ruined the part of the day for us - suggestion for this to be guide led Santa Monica beach was great - more time here

This was a great experience, the communication & understanding of the tour was perfect. The driver was very helpful, and the the tour guide was very informative. The sandboarding was fun, just beware of the local souvenir sellers, waiting to sell there wares! It was good to see the shipwreck, before it disappears forever! When we stopped at Sal Rei, where we were greeted with more locals, selling there wares. Had a nice meal at the beach restaurant. Great tour, need more safety rails in 4x4

It’s a full day out (9 till around 4:30) and you stop at sights around the island. The tour guides were very informative and pleasant. Our driver, Nelson, was super lovely and made an effort to point out things along the way and took photos for us. It is a bumpy ride so be sure to wear comfy clothes. The beach club we stopped at for lunch was gorgeous - it would have been lovely to have spent more time there and at Santa Monica beach but, overall it was lovely!

Tour ist langweilig. Sandboarden auf einer lächerlichen Piste hinter einer Kneipe ist Kindergartenkram. Dann wurden wir nch dem Sandboarden für über eine halbe Stunde abgestellt um auf nichts zu schauen. Die Fahrzeuge sind wie Viehtransporter. Man sitzt sich gegenüber, hat keine richtige Aussicht (je nach Masse des Gegenüber gar keine Aussicht). Keine Bei Freiheit, keine Haltegriffe. Diese Tour ist nichts als Abzocke. Ich werde sie auf gar keinen Fall weiterempfehlen, sondern davon abraten.

Good lunch although same restaurant as evening barbecue. Grab rails in the Toyota would be good as you get bounced about a bit. Beaches not as scenic as those visited by quad tour although good for swimming. Felt a bit stretched out to fill the day.

This excursion was both exhilarating and a little bit disappointing at times. We visited several places around the island, some of which were fun and interesting, others not so (eg Sal Rei and the chapel). I enjoyed the sand boarding, off roading through the sand dunes, the ship wreck and Santa Monica beach. This is not for the faint hearted and some people suffered travel sickness.

Etwas eng auf der "Ladefläche" eines Geländeautos eingepfercht, mit mangelndem Sitzkomfort, haben wir die "Sehenswürdigkeiten" der Insel gesehen. Der Aufenthalt zur Mittagspause in dem Restaurant war super, tolle Location, Essen war gut. Dort hat alles gepasst. Die Reiseleiterin dieser Tour, eine Engländerin mit "holländischem" Akzent war ok.

Super guide parlant un très bon français:Paolo Journée magnifique avec 4 autres chouettes personnes, c'est important aussi!! Repas très sympa et copieu.... Chauffeur très bien aussi.... Pour finir la journée, plage magnifique de Santa Monica (près de l'hôtel Riu Touareg)....40 minutes sur place ,c'est un peu court 1h à 1h30 aurait été plus cool Pour le reste : top journée

Very enjoyable, a little rushed to see everything. 4x4 vehicles cater for 8 in the back this would be very cramped with 8 adults, we were lucky that only 4 people were in our vehicle so we had a lot of room , 6 would be ok. Our Guide Hugo, and the driver were great. Thanks for an excellent day

Zu penetrante Verkäufer beim Sandboarden, die bis nach Sal Rei gefolgt sind. Der Hügel beim Sandboarden könnte länger sein ;) Viel zu wenig Zeit, dadurch extrem stressig in Sal Rei. Sensationeller Fahrer, Kuhla und Tourguide Becky, ohne die es nur halb so spaßig gewesen wäre. Hammer Ambiente und Essen zu Mittag.

De woestijn en het noorden was prima. De hoofdstad, goed om gezien te hebben. De lunch was oké, ook de plaats. De rit naar het kleine dorpje en de kapel, stelde niet veel voor. Dan naar het mooiste strand, een lastige rit met beperkt resultaat. Je kan natuurlijk niet meer aanbieden dan er is. Proficiat aan de gids, die ons heel veel bijbracht over het eiland.

Heel veel is er niet te zien op het eiland. zandboarden, leuk geprobeerd. De begeleiding deed erg z'n best. Daarna een verroest schip. Ik heb daar niets mee. Ik zou het uit zee halen en voorkomen dat er nog meer afval in de oceaan komt, maar als dit een bezienswaardigheid is, snap ik dat het blijft liggen. Wel een verrassend lekkere lunch gehad. Het was een leuke break van de week, maar de volgende keer sla ik toch over.

minpunt is at je wel een beetje opgepropt in de 4x4 zit. wij hadden het geluk dat we met z'n 6en achterin zaten ipv met 8. onze gids (Fati) was ook echt geweldig. het plekje waar je de lunch krijgt is echt adembenemend. wanneer je op boa vista bent, zou ik dit echt gaan doen. je krijgt zo echt een eilandbeleving. je ziet dingen die fantastisch zijn. ook de mindere mooie kant van het eiland krijg je te zien. echt een top excursie.

Le véhicule était TRÈS inconfortable y compris à côté du chauffeur. Pas 1 4x4 mais un pickup couvert. Ne correspondait pas à notre demande. Nous étions 10 alors qu’on nous avait dit 8!!! Étions très serrés. Guide très bien. Découverte très moyen.

Wir würden es nicht weiter empfehlen. Wir waren ca 24 Leute. Dazu kamen aber noch locker pro Stopp 30/40 dazu. Es war eine komplette Massenabfertigung. Ganz im Gegenteil zu dem Motto der Insel war es hier Stress pur. Man hatte pro Stopp nicht viel Zeit und wurde gleich wieder in den Wagen mit 8 Leuten gequetscht. Hier muss man dazu sagen - nichts für Menschen mit Rückenproblemen oder einem schwachen Magen!!! Das Essen war super (durch Zeitdruck konnte man es nicht gut genießen)

An enjoyable way to see different aspects of the island. We had an excellent driver who handled the terrain more than competently. We were disappointed that it wasn't always possible to hear our guide's introduction to the stops on the tour due to his quiet style of delivery.

De punten die tijdens de 4x4 tour bezocht werden waren het geld niet waard. De chauffeur van de 4x4 deed het uitzonderlijk goed maar dat was ook het enige wat goed was. De auto was op verschillende punten niet geschikt om 9+1 personen veilig te kunnen vervoeren maar op Boa Vista zullen andere inzichten gelden neem ik aan.

Wir waren mit unserem Guide Becky sehr zufrieden. Sie hat die Tour für uns zu einem sehr tollen Erlebnis gemacht. Leider wurden wir nicht informiert das die Bilder die auf der Tour gemacht wurden wir noch an selben Tag hätten mitnehmen können und das war sehr schade. Nun fehlt uns die ein oder andere Erinnerung.

Leuke veelzijdige excursie. Hebben genoten. Goede reisleider en ook zeker een compliment voor de chauffeur. Toen door het snel stijgende water een auto vast kwam te zitten nam hij de leiding en samen met de andere chauffeurs werden de passagiers in veiligheid gebracht. De auto werd losgetrokken en de tocht vervolgt. Een compliment is zeker op zijn plaats

It was a great day but even better if: Some bars to hold on to in the 4x4 - it was a bit cramped and when off road we were being ‘thrown around’ would have been great with handrails Also the guide was brilliant- really knowledgable however was in the other car - they were stopping and being informed which our car missed out on - could there have been a radio link through to both cars?

Alles in allem eine gute Tour. Die Guide Becky war sehr nett und kannte sich gut aus. Wir saßen im ersten Jeep, mit der Guide, deshalb haben wir noch einiges mehr erfahren. Leider hat es nach dem Mittagessen geregnet. Am Santa Monica Beach gab es nicht mal einen Kaffee und kaum Unterstellmöglichkeiten. Die Rückfahrt war mehr eine Flussfahrt, da das eigentlich trockene Flussbett überschwemmt war. Unser Fahrer hat uns aber sicher dort raus manövriert.

More than one chance to sand surf would have been great and longer at Santa Monica - 50 mins was not enough to enjoy this fabulous beach, where we could FINALLY get in the sea! Having topped up the lotion, relaxed for 10 mins then gone no the sea left no time to visit what looked like a beautiful beach bar. 2 hours minimum should be granted there!

Die Reiseleiterin Becki war wirklich gut. Leider gibt es auf Boa Vista ja nicht viel zu sehen aber man hätte sich in Sal Rei etwas länger aufhalten können. Die Verpflegung unterwegs war gut, der Fahrer freundlich, also alles in allem ein gelungener Ausflug. Der Stopp am schönsten Strand der Insel hätte dagegen etwas kürzer ausfallen können. Eine 3/4 Stunde am Strand mit Ausblick aufs Meer ohne hinein gehen zu dürfen, hat etwas von Folter.

Er zijn geen echte high lights om te bewonderen op het eiland, in een vieze jeep waar je overdwars opgevouwen de hele dag in zit meer dan dat je eruit bent. 100 euro pp is echt overvraagd. Maaltijd zit niemand op te wachten wanneer je all Inclusive hebt geboekt.

The guide was lovely and made our day. But the jeep was over crowded. And very uncomfortable. The ship wreck was a rust bucket in the sea and the beach was very dirty. With glass everywhere and plastic. Overhaul the visit wad not what we expected. The only good thing was the guide who was lovely.

The guides made it a fun and exciting experience and considered our safety at all times. The trip provided us an opportunity to see more of the island. The sandboarding was fun and thoroughly enjoyed spending time on the soft powdered sand at Santa Maria/Monica Beach.The trip came with free lunch and drinks. My only slight disappointment was I went for the vegetarian option (pasta and a few vegetables ) which was basic compared to the chicken and fish option.

Our guide, Stefan was amazing. He was in the jeep with our driver, Carlos and my husband and myself. He was so knowledgeable and interesting. We learned a lot about Boa Vista as well seeing some beautiful sights. We tried the sand boarding and were given nearly 90 photos of our day free. It was a brilliant day.

Eine unerklärliche Hektik und unnötiger Druck Bzgl. Weiterfahren bei jedem Stopp. Genießen und Spass kommt zu kurz, sorry. Du Hälfte der Zeit sitzt man in Auto, obwohl die Insel so klein ist. Das Sandborden war max. Etwas für Kids, null Anspruch und primitiv. Schön der Ort des Mittagessen den man aufgrund der Hektik auch nicht richtig genießen konnte ebenso Sal Rei. St. Monika Beach schön aber auch hier nur max 30min, dann wieder los los los und vorbei war es. Leider enttäuschend

Leider hat die Tour nicht das gehalten, was sie versprach. Bis zum Mittagessen war die Tour gut organisiert und auch sehr angenehm, bis auf die viel zu engen Fahrzeuge, die für acht Personen völlig ungeeignet sind. Wetterbedingt fiel der letzte Badestop aus, dafür hatten wir einen 30-minütigen Stop an einem anderen Strand, der natürlich viel zu kurz war. Unser Guide war sehr freundlich, aber wenig effektiv, was unter anderem die Geschichte von Boa Vista angeht.

It would be 9 or 10 everywhere is if not for cars that do not really have air conditioning. It was 30+ in a small spaxe a the back of old land cruser which onky has ac for 2 fromt seats (4 vents) and reat of the cwr gets unbearably hot. If anyone woulf ask me if its worth I would say so: good experiece destroyed by poor air aircoditioning in cars where you actually spend half of time furing trip. Sweaty and hot.

The bar at the desert stop had no running water or flushing toilets. The lunch was fantastic but this was the only part of the tour I’d recommend. The stop in the capital was a waste of time and felt unsafe. We were disappointed the promised swim could not take place due to how rough it was. The roads are very uneven and it’s a very uncomfortable journey.

This was the worst trip I have been on, basically all we got from this was a brief look at the ship wreck and a lunch that we couldn't eat because we were swarmed by flies, there was no 'shopping' as described by the rep Bob, just a couple of souvenir shops, there was no forthcoming information from the so called tour guide he didn't know anything, we should have stayed at the hotel, a total waste of 198 euros, the only plus point was our driver who was brilliant.

Es gab bei der Tour 2 Gruppen, eine für deutschsprachige und eine für englischsprachige Teilnehmer. Wir wurden der englischsprachigen Gruppe zugeteilt und haben sehr wenig verstanden, was der Guide erzählt hat. Das war sehr schade. Auch würde ich anregen, Getränke in den Fahrzeugen in Kühlboxen anzubieten. Die Zeit am Santa Monica Beach war sehr kurz (45 Minuten).

We zijnop pad geweest met gids Sonny en 2 Jeeps. De chauffeurs waren erg goed in het rijden en Sonny kon ons alles vertellen. Het was een leuke dag waarin we veel gezien hebben, maar ook ontzettend veel in de Jeeps zaten. Maar we vonden de prijs van deze excursie veel te hoog voor wat we ervoor terugkregen. En vooral als je je bedenkt dat de werknemers hier tussen de 150-300 Dollar per maand verdienen.

The weather didn't help this day which is no one's fault! However the day was more traveling than anything else! We went to the first stop which was sand boarding however we couldn't do this due to the rain then we went to the ship wreck which was quite disappointing and the beach was covered in litter! We did go to the market but we didn't really have enough time to look around. We could have definitely come here instead of the first stop. The dinner was delicious and the staff were enthusiast

Rayning day. Car was packed and very uncomfortable. Spend too much time driving in it. Took us hour to go around other hotels even so our transport was full from start. Then drive another hour to the place we could do nothing because of rain to sit there for an hour to drive to shipwreck in the most polluted by trash beach in the world. Nothing to see there. Suppose to have a chance to swim that day and shopping in city. We had 30 min for shopping while walking distance to main market was 10min.

Our vehicle had 8 people which is too many especially as 4 were large, we were a group of 4 so did not want to get split up, the other 4 were large so did not want to transfer to other vehicle, it just needs rge tour guides to re organise if necessary, so 4 large with 2 medium people or styles of 4x4 so can see where to put size of people, but seeing country was nice, resturant was lovely food was lovely, did enjoy the day apart from being squashed in jeep

The trip was absolutely not worth the money charged, there was not much to do and the beach which was promised to be calm to swim in was actually one of the roughest beaches on the island. This is shocking because before on the trip we visited two perfectly calm and swim appropriate beaches and were not allowed to go near the water.

The whole day was excellent apart from the initial pickup where there were mot enough 4x4's tp pick up all passengers so Tui rep had tp get us a taxi to the next collection point. This delay had an impact on how much time we coukd spend at the stop points. It also would of been better to have a little more time at Sal Rai for shopping or looking around as we only had 30 mins. The final stop at the beach was simply amazing. Our tour guide was excellent and great fun to share a 4x4 with.

Initially, Tui's organizational aspects presented challenges, resulting in an insufficient number of vehicles. Local taxi services were employed initially, but the situation was rectified following the first hotel stop. Regrettably, the shipwreck has significantly deteriorated since the photograph was taken. Throughout the day, the guide provided exceptional service. The vehicles were maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. Furthermore, the culinary offerings were of excellent quality.

Es gibt eigentlich nicht viel zu erzählen, da alles gut organisiert war. Beim Sandrutschen hätte die Düne etwas länger oder höher sein können, war aber okay. Unser Reiseleiterin auf Tour hat viel über Boa Vista in Deutsch erzählt und war mega freundlich. Fahre auf dieser Tour, hat Spaß gemacht, super gefahren. Das einzige was etwas gestört hat, waren Verkaufwüdige Damen die uns beim Stop in der Stadt stürmisch begrüßt hatten. Der Tag war super, unsere Gruppe hatte Spaß, Dankeschön ans Team.

Grundsätzlich war diese Tour sehr schön. Allerdings wenn bei der Präsentation der Tour von 2 Stunden Badeaufenthalt gesprochen wird und dann sind es nur 50 Minuten, dann finde ich es sehr schade, denn diese zwei Stunden waren unser Haupt-Teilnahmekriterium. Wir wären gerne länger, zumindest diese angekündigten zwei Stunden an diesem Traumstrand, geblieben. Alles andere war in Ordnung.

For a 100€ a person, where you sit in 4x4 for an approximately 30 mins, then you have 10-15 mins of history and wonder about and hop back in the crowded 4x4 for another 30 ish mins drive to do another 10-15 mins.. we’ve had our lunch and beach front, the food was not the best, the see was nice and calm but we didn’t go in, we have had move on to the Santa Monica beach, beautiful beach but the see was rough just as at the hotel so my wife was scared to go in. Didn't see the love caves close by..

Little time to experience what we paid for, sand boarding we had 1 go then was told we had to leave. Went to the ship wreck, again no time to appreciate the area as we were told we now have to go. Food was mediocre and swarming with flys mosquitoes. Santa Monica beach last stop, beautiful but only 40 minutes on site, again ushered into jeep. Nowhere to change had to sit in wet clothes, including our children.

Wenn man vergessen wird abgeholt zu werden und deshalb, die ersten Punkte der Tour versäumt, wie z. B. Das Sandsurfen schmälert das die Tour schon, vor allem wenn die verspätete Abholung erst nach Nachfrage überhaupt stattfand. Die Qualität des Mittagsessen hat uns nicht gefallen. A brilliant day. Wilson our tour guide kept us informed and amused. Answered our questions in a very informative way. Felt very safe with Nelson our driver even on some very challenging off roading. Sand board staff extremely patient. The lady in the bar there made us very welcome. Lunch was in a beautiful beach bar and very tasty. A great day out and well worth the money.

Opzich was de gids prima. Alleen de dagtoch zelf stelt niet zoveel voor. Het stadje wat we hebben bezocht had de gids een rondleiding kunnen geven en wat kunnen vertellen. Nu werd iedereen los gelaten en was er eigenlijk niks te beleven. Ook het zwemmen bij het strand viel tegen doordat er geen kleedhokjes aanwezig waren. De lunch daarin tegen was erg lekker.

Een leuke dag tocht (tot ongeveer 16u). Je begint met sandboarden wat niet super veel voorstelt als je volwassen bent en daarna vertrek je echt. Ik zat niet bij de gids in de auto, waardoor ik wel wat info misgelopen ben maar bij elke stop is er wel het 1 en ander verteld. De laatste stop aan het strand heb je maar 45 minuten, terwijl de meesten wel iets langer hadden willen blijven. Al met al waar voor je geld en een leuke manier om het eiland te zien!

Super visite avec le guide stephane Super sympa qui parle très bien français. Cette visite n'est pas trop longue avec beaucoup de stop qui permet de faire beaucoup de photos. Nous avons mangé au bord de mer très sympa n'hésite surtout pas prendre un petit cocktail au bas il sont très bon.

Habe schon viele Touren in den Urlaubsorten gemacht. Bei 100,00 € pro Person, stimmt das Verhältnis nicht. Aus meiner Sicht max. 60,00 € Wert. Ich verstehe, dass auch Menschen vor Ort damit finanziert werden, aber das kann man auch vorher kommunizieren. So entsteht ein falscher Eindruck. Hatte ein wenig Eindruck, mich auf einer Verkaufstour zu befinden.

Quite an expensive trip We were told there would be a market but it turned out to be a few veg stalls! We didn’t have long enough in the town ( 15 mins) and it felt unsafe so it would have been better if the guide had stayed with us. The locals were hassling us for money and trying to lure us into quiet side streets so we just ended up waiting near the bus. Otherwise, it was great. The desert was great fun and the beach was beautiful. Appreciated the local knowledge of the guides.

400€ betaald voor een uitstap waar amper iets te zien valt. Meer in de auto gezeten en dooreen geschud geweest dan op de stopplaatsen iets te kunnen zien of te beleven. Hele dag maar om 15u30 al terug in het hotel afgezet vind deze uitstap echt een ramp . Niks te beleven en schandalig veel geld kwijt.

Leider war der Strand eine Katastrophe.Hohe Wellen und man sollte Cocktails kaufen in einer Bar die seit 3 Wochen da ist. Baden ging nicht.Kinder und wir total enttäuscht. Vorher war man Mittagessen wo ein total schöner Strand ist wir aber kein Go bekommen haben das man baden darf. Warum fragt man nicht an wie die Bedingungen sind am Strand und bleibt dann zum Baden an den tollen Strand ??das hat leider das ganze Erlebnis komplett kaputt gemacht. Warum müssen 32 Leute 45 Minuten auf Nix warten?

Een leuke ervaring om met een 4X4 het eiland te verkennen. We hadden Graag wat meer tijd gehad om Sal Rei te verkennen. Stop daar was te kort om in het stadje rond te lopen en souveniers te kunnen kopen , De zwemstop was voor ons niet echt nodig , voor ons was dit een verloren uur. We hebben ook een kerkje bezocht. Daar was een Prachtig dorp met gekleurde huisjes. Jammer dat we daar niet even mochten uitstappen om wat foto’s te maken, Maar op zich een leuke dag gehad! ??

Man wurde im Auto teilweise durchgewirbelt. Insgesamt war es eine lustige und schöne, abwechslungsreiche Erfahrung. Den Besuch des Wracks könnte man sich sparen, es ist nicht mehr als ein Schiffswrack zu erkennen! Dafür könnte man die Grotte ins Programm einbauen.

Tour guide stefan was excellent. Spoke a bit fast at times but still good. 4x4 was a bit bumpy but we enjoyed it as it was a laugh. Wasn't too happy about being pestered by locals trying to sell us things when we were at the dunes. Also wish we would of known that the beach restaurant was the same one as the sunset dinner as weren't too impressed with the food both times. Overall it was a nice day out from the hotel but I think it is overpriced at €99

Es war eine echt schöne Tour unsere Tourführerin war echt sehr nett und gut vorbereitet. Doch ich möchte unseren Tour Fahrer sehr positiv hervorheben den "Nelsen" so hieß er machte aus dieser Tour ein Besonders schönes Erlebniss und war immer sehr freundlich und hatte immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Kann Nelsen als Fahrer nur weiter empfehlen ????????

De excursie was erg leuk en mooi. De chauffeurs en Nederlands talige gids (Sonny) waren erg vriendelijk en professioneel. Alleen de lunch was zeer ondermaats. Het vlees (karbonade) dat bij mij werd geserveerd bestond grotendeels uit vet. Een aantal andere medereizigers hebben zelfs helemaal niets van de lunch gegeten. Dit moet echt verbeterd worden

We were in a two vehicle group & the guide was in the first vehicle, unfortunately whilst an excellent driver the second driver was silent throughout the tour it would have been nice for him to be able to communicate & support the official guide in veh 1. Chouette journée,assez complète qui permet de découvrir les principaux aspects de l’île. L’endroit choisi pour le repas est vraiment top ?? Le guide Wilson est à recommander Dommage par contre que tout le monde n’a pas droit au même confort. Nous avons passé toute l’excursion à l’arrière, pas dans le sens de la marche, il fallait vraiment se cramponner, impossible de prendre des photos… ces banquettes sont très inconfortables et peu sécurisantes. De hoogtepunten van de excursie waren leuk, alleen de stops waren vaak te kort (met name in Sal Rei). Dit had zeker langer gekund, aangezien we ook om 15:30 bij het hotel waren i.p.v. 16:30. De lunch kon beter, maar geen ramp. Kortom leuke stops, maar steeds net iets te weinig tijd om rustig te kunnen verkennen. Iets meer informatie over hetgeen we hebben gezien zou leuk zijn geweest.

Excellent guide but a bit over priced for the day. Uncomfortable ride as sat at back of the 4x4 which seated 8 of us and the metal bar kept pushing into my side on the off road driving. A lot of driving and the stops were too short for me personally.

De tocht begon een kwartier later en was een uur eerder terug dan gemeld door de hostess van Tui Wij zijn ook niet in het dorpje geweest(vroegere hoofd stad)alleen om een sleutel te halen van het kerkje waar we zijn geweest . terwijl er in de wel door de hostess van Tui werd gezegd, al met al vinden wij dat er voor deze toch teveel is betaald zou €80,00 moeten zijn ipv €99.00 in de hoofd stad kregen wij ook al niet veel uitleg. jammer Tui bereid je meer voor in excursies

Got picked up and went to another hotel. Waited for ages then followed in a convoy. Over very hard rocky sands. Bumping around all over the place. Felt like my insides were dropping out. Couldn't even take a photo. Sand ride - one go only. Couldn't go to beack we wanted to as too rough. Spent more time having bumpy dodgem rides than spending time at the destination places.

The tour guide stefan? And our driver George were brilliant ! Friendly , welcoming , good energy and knowledgeable. They made the journey between different sights very enjoyable and comfortable. You could tell George was experienced and this made you feel at ease and safe. The only thing was when in Sal Rei it was a festival day and it seemed like a fast run through the centre then 30 mins just left and had lots of local venders trying to get you to buy things.

Visiter un bateau échoué, un hôtel abandonné, un centre ville en 15 min afin de ne pas nous éloigner, cela manque un peu de beauté. De plus, dans le coffre d’une voiture. Par contre, nous avons passé de beaux moments humain avec le guide et d’autres personnes.

Really enjoyed our tour with Wilson and Nelson! They knew a lot of information about the island and were very friendly. The road at some parts was quite rough but it was clear the driver was experienced driving on it and we felt very safe. The lunch was lovely and had many options for different food.

Einfach Klasse. Man erkundet , wenn auch manchmal nur kurz , einige interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten der Insel. Das Mittagessen war einfach nur Klasse. Becky unser Tourguide war der beste Guide den ich je hatte. Das Offroad Erlebnis ist an manchen Stellen ein echtes Erlebnis, auch wenn es einigen bei uns im Auto schlecht wurde.

Mehr Zeit um vor Ort sich etwas umzuschauen z. B. Sal Reij. Lunch am Beach(Essen war gut) hatten danach ca.30 min um ins Wasser zu gehen was sehr sehr kurz war, da wir am Santa Monica Beach nicht ins Wasser durften. Santa Monica Beach war unserer letzte Station wir wurden hingebracht um uns das Wasser anzusehen in das wir normalerweise schwimmen sollten. War etwas unglücklich. Die Zeit hätte man an das Essen anhängen können um die Zeit zum Schwimmen zu nutzen . Kirche war unnötig.

Nette Jeeps aber zu neunt auf engsten Raum eingepfercht mit kaum Platz für Füße …Sandboarding war nur kurz show und keine Zeit in Sal Rei und Markt wieversprochen eine Stunde nur halbe Stunde und man wurde wie abgesprochen von den Verkäuferinnen bedrängt . Essen was schön und schiffswrack . Der Fahrer war gut durch die Dünen und Reisleitung Bettybett undinformstiv unterhaltsam- Kirche hatte man sich sparen können dafür lieber die tollen Häuser zeigen ! Und mehr Zeit zum Baden …

A great way to see all the attractions that Boa Vista has to offer in one go. When only here for a week, we wanted to see as much as possible in one go and we sure did. We were 65 and 68 , I did sandboarding and loved it. And it was a full day off road, bumpy a lot of the time. Done if the time held on to our seats. But I'd do it all again, great day can't recommend enough.

Prima chauffeur die veel vertelde, maar we kregen van de TUI-gids nauwelijks tijd om even rond te kijken zoals bv in Sal Rei, daar maar 20 minuten ipv bij het boeken aangegeven 1 uur. Ook de verdeling ovder de 4x4's maakte de gids een **********. Daarnaast zouden we ergens kunnen gaan zwemmen (santa nogiets) maar zoals bekend moet zijn is dat aan de zuidkust onmogelijk. De aangeboden lunch was redelijk. Dus al met al toch wel een teleurstellende trip waar een hele hoop geld voor betaald is.

De vrolijke gids Fati was zeer goed geïnformeerd en vertelde op een leuke, empathische manier. Door. haar aanpak was de groepssfeer gezellig en humoristisch. Vielleicht lieber mehr Zeit am Santa-Monica-Strand oder ein Besuch beim Schildkrötenzentrum (falls möglich). Great day out with some good experiences. Sand boarding was fun but was expecting longer runs. Half an hour in Sal Rei was a waste of time. No guidance as to what to do in the short time so sat in the Italian Ice cream shop and had coffee and ice cream. Would far rather have spent more time on Santa Monica beach which was a real highlight. Great time swimming in the waves.

During the lunch the food and service was excellent. When visiting the island centre was intimidating being followed by a photographer locals selling their products. Terrific driving skills. I wish there was more interaction with the drivers but ours never spoke to us. The beautiful beach will be memorable unlike the sand boarding.

Vriendelijke gids, alles goed geregeld. Lunch met drankje, dessert en koffie inbegrepen. Sandboarding in de Viana-woestijn, maar aan de rand bij een heuvel – niet diep in de duinen. Geen stop bij de Varandinha-grotten of Fatimakapel, hoewel die vlakbij lagen. De route is volledig vastgelegd en alle TUI-jeeps volgen exact hetzelfde schema. De rit door de woestijn naar Sal Rei was wel prachtig. Voor wie graag meer vrijheid en verborgen plekjes wil, is een privé- of lokale tour een betere keuze.

Sandboarden en een duik aan het strand was leuk. Sal Rey hebben we amper kunnen zien. We kregen maar 30min. Povoaçao Velha zijn we gewoon doorgereden. In een kapel kregen we wat uitleg over de geschiedenis van CV. Maar rondkijken en mengen onder de locale bevolking was er dus helemaal niet.

Unangeschnallt auf durchgesessenen Bänken ist diese Tour für niemanden. Egal welchen Alters hat hinterher Beschwerden gehabt. An sich eine gute Idee Offroad usw aber dann müssen die Fahrzeuge auch passen. Der Guide war zwar nett, aber so wirklich viel erzählt sie nicht. Man fährt eigentlich fast nur in den Jeeps und ansonsten nicht so viel das man sieht oder Zeit hat.

Es wurde im Vorfeld nicht erwähnt dass die Tour im Allrad Geländewagen stattfindet. Die Sitzanordnung war längs, Sicht, Bequemlichkeit, Komfort gleich null. Eingeengt mit 8 Leuten stundenlang durch Sand und Geröll, nicht wirklich zu empfehlen. Bei Buchung wurde leider nicht darauf hingewiesen. Die angefahrenen Punkte waren ok, der Fahrer hat sein bestes gegeben, der Guide war sehr kompetent. Für ältere Menschen mit kleinen mobilen Einschränkungen absolut nicht empfehlenswert.

The tour was ok but from the moment we got to the jeep we were squashed in like sardines 10 of us in a tiny jeep it was so uncomfortable everyone was complaining I had my legs In between another woman’s all trip which was awful my husband was squashed opposite her husband the seats weren’t comfy at all the tour was good the food not so good we were told 50 mins at Santa Monica beach but only had half hour I wouldn’t do it again sorry

Uncomfortable in back of 4x4 for older generation. Santander Monica beach unable to go in sea due to being dangerous. Accept this but how often CAN you swim there? Also couldn't walk up to the shipwreck due to the tide. Again how often can you get close? 2 out of 4 destinations weren't applicable. This should be made aware when booked. Then at least you have the choice. On a plus the Toir guide "Paulo" is very good and very funny. The scenes are different class and the driving is superb.

Insgesamt passte wirklich alles, Nicky und unser Fahrer Emanuel waren top. Beim sandboarding wäre eine längere Abfahrt oder eine zweite Fahrt schön gewesen. Das Essen in Morabeza Beach Bar war sehr lecker und ein toller Aufenthalt.

Great day out, good guide very informative. Best way to see the island and the cheapest! Great food in a beautiful beachside location. Learnt some island history, and finished the day with a swim on Santa Monica beach. Just watch out around the souvenir market... sellers are very pushy and a bit intimidating.

Der Ausflug hat viel Spaß gemacht ( leider nur auf Englisch, aber der Guide war sehr gut und hatte ********** uns was zu erzählen). In einem Jeep sind wir quasi über die komplette Insel gefahren. Sehr schöne Ecken hat die Insel zu bieten. Das Sandboarding was lustig, aber ausbaufähig was das Drumherum angeht, über das alte gestrandete Schiff, über das lecker Mittagessen in einem sehr netten Lokal bis hin zum sehr schönen Sandstrand war alles dabei. Ich empfehle diese Tour weiter!

The whole experience was fantastic. Special mention for our guide Paulo and driver George. Both were extremely good fun and very knowledgeable about the island. Nothing was too much trouble and out comfort and satisfaction were their main concern. I would highly recommend.

Das Abendprogramm war für uns sehr dürftig Jeden Abend karaokke und in der Disco nur Musik für die ganz junge Generation. Für das alter von 50 aufwärts war nichts geboten. Nur an die Bar und etwas drinken ist für so eine große Anlage sehr wenig. Am Abend mal in die Stadt fahren durch die Straßen schlendern u auch mal mit einheimischen zusammen kommen, ist fast unmöglich.

Insgesamt hat uns die Tour gut gefallen. Der Aufenthalt am Strand hätte länger sein können. Der Aufenthalt in der Stadt hätte besser organisiert werden können Infos haben gefehlt,für jemanden der noch nie in der Stadt war zu wenig Infos. Es wäre schön gewesen,wenn man gesagt bekommen hätte,wo man käuflich etwas erwerben hätte können shopping. Wurden am Hafen herausgerissen,Café wurde vorgestellt und das wars dann keine Wegweiser. Sonst alles gut gemacht. Danke

Gids Vertelde steeds dat ze moest leven van de fooien. Stopte niet om foto’s te maken en ook niet in rabil. Stond wel in de beschrijving ook bij oudste kerkje zijn we niet naar het dorpje gegaan zoals wel stond vermeld. Lunch was super goed en heel gezellig restaurantje. Kerk in Sal rei is de reis niet naar toe geweest. Geen stadswandeling in Sal rei.

This was a great experience and would definitely recommend. Just a couple of things to be mindful of. There are 8 of you in the back of the 4x4 mostly sitting lengthways (4 people each side) and when it gets bumpy (and it will) you will be very up close and personal with the stranger beside you, although on my trip everyone laughed when it happened. If you’re tall it will be a rather cramped experience although the journeys in between are no longer than 30 minutes. You will have a great time!

We vonden alles mooi wat we bezocht hebben. Het was super. Alleen de tijd bij het stadje bezoeken was net te kort. George onze gids in de auto was gezellig en wist veel te vertellen op een leuke manier. Christel onze nl gids was vriendelijk en kon ook veel vertellen over het eiland. Het lunchen in de bahia beach club was top. Zo mooie omgeving en het eten was goed. Vriendelijke mensen. Het was super alleen jammer dat de dag kort duurt want je had overal wat langer willen blijven.

Der Fahrer war top!! Das Mittagessen war in einem tollen Restaurant direkt am Meer. Aber es gab sehr wenig Informationen über die Insel. Erst auf Nachfrage kamen Infos. Der Strand-Stop hat zwar noch einiges rausgeholt aber das Sandboarding war garnichts.

The overall day was spent being bounced about in the back of a 4x4 with 8 people in it, with very limited time at each location. On average 15 mins at each destination. The guide/driver we had did not speak English, the English speaking guide was in another vehicle on the tour. The food choices given could have been explained in more detail. We choose chicken & unfortunately due to the way it was cooked my daughter didn’t eat it, also no time on that beach, so disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend

Die Tour war super, und es hat mit Becky und ihrer lustigen und kompetenten Art sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Das Essen am Meer war ein Highlight. Unser Fahrer hat einen super Job gemacht und uns über sämtliche Steine und Schotterstraßen sehr sicher und so behutsam wie möglich gefahren. Es war ein absolut empfehlenswerter Ausflug. Alles wel zo ongeveer gezien op Boavista. Leuk en leerzaam. Hele leuke kleine groep in één Jeep. Goede uitleg van de gids, ook over het leven op het eiland. Boavista heeft alles om zich te ontwikkelen tot vakantie-eiland.

Appreciated the adjustment to timings and help from guide Stefan when we needed to stop at a pharmacy. Driver Frank kept us safe all day and cleaned out the vehicle of sand at every stop, lunch was excellent, could have had more time at Santa Monica beach at the end of the day.

Très bon chauffeur, mais des stops très courts avec peu d'explications ou de réelles visites. Le texte était récité. Trop cher pour la journée passée et les expériences vécues. Des vendeurs locaux proposent pour moins cher plus de lieux visités (journée plus longue).

Paulo, our guide was fabulous. Funny, friendly and very informative, he made the trip fab. Enjoyed every place that we visited although the chance to swim was not what we expected. The sea was very tough so we chose to have a drink instead. The food for lunch was at a delightful restaurant in the beach and was delicious. Great opportunity to see some of the island and buy some souvenirs. We really enjoyed this experience.

Pauolo was an excellent, helpful and thoughtful guide. The driver (so sorry I didn't remember his name) skillfully guided us, particularly around the dunes. Lunch was ideal in a lovely setting. So much to see and learn about beautiful Boa Vista. Well worth the money and certainly a day to remember

Peu d’explications de la part du guide et arrêts sans vraiment d’intérêt. Voyage inconfortable du fait du nombre de personnes (8) et de la configuration de la jeep. Arrêt à Sal Rei sans intérêt. Trajets trop longs et pas intéressants par rapport aux arrêts. Également, notre excursion à Sal Rei d’une demi-journée a été annulée deux fois de suite et remboursée. Conclusion : nous hésiterons à commander des excursions TUI à l’avenir
